This place was nice! Very clean and cozy and the wifi was great. June is a sweetheart. It is on a major road so the cars could be loud at night, but otherwise I had a great stay!

Hi Ian Our staff cleans our units on a daily basis, and even cleans at no cost whilst guests are checked in - the morning after each stay. Your claim that the place was dirty is unheard of and its a great shame you did not immediately bring it to our attention - we could have moved you to another room and somehow compensated you , nevertheless we are shocked to hear of this as more than 90% of our hundreds of reviews have never made a claim of a "dirty" room. Its a pity you did not elaborate, since I checked the room myself before you came and dispute that it was dirty, on the contrary, I found it to be clean and neat. The large majority of guests locate the place quite easily - apologies for the number not being displayed - wall was being repaired - number will be displayed shortly. Regarding location, its on the M3 - many guests find that its very central and convenient so its unfortunate that you feel the way you do about the traffic. We differ vehemently about the bed linen, which our cleaning staff changes after every guest leaves. There was cleaned, fresh linen placed on your bed before you arrived, and it was certainly not the same linen used by the previous guest. We dispute this claim that we did not change the linen. If you had a genuine problem that the linen was used by the previous guest, why did you not immediately complain and bring it to our attention - we would have investigated this, called our cleaning staff to change the linen and offer you some kind of compensation if we were at fault and if we found that there was indeed a problem, however it is clear that you chose not to afford us a chance of remedying a possible problem - which could easily have been done, instead you chose to live with the problem and rather complain about it 2 days later - a real shame. We have had 1 or 2 issues with other guests in the past where we could easily remedy a small issue simply thanks to good communication, which was unfortunately lacking from your side - and on this note, your point about the towels could also have been solved by simple communication. There were in fact 2 large towels in the basket on top of the cupboard in the room - which you obviously missed, and would not have done had you perhaps just looked around in the room and seen the basket, or perhaps just asked about towels. Once again , and unfortunately so, you chose not to communicate your issue to us but rather waited for 2 days to complain about having 1 tiny towel whilst there were 2 big towels right under your nose. The small towel which you did find, was washed (as are all our towels before a guest arrives) and your complaint that it "smelt fusty" could also easily have been remedied as we have cleaning staff who would have replaced the towel immediately. Our cleaning staff only puts 1 bar of soap ( not 2 per room) and most certainly did put a new bar of soap in your place.This is the very first complaint about soap being old and we once again dispute this. Your claim about the soap wrappers in the basin, makes no sense, as our suppliers supply us with bulk unwrapped soap. The container next to the toilet contained borehole water, for emergency toilet use, given the water crisis - apologies, forgot to explain to you, however once again, something which could have been cleared up with fairly simple communication. Its a great pity that your experience was not a great one given the lack of communication. Perhaps you should simply learn to message or call instead of creating a Knit pickers list which could have so easily prevented your awfully dreadful experience, truly an isolated phenomenon at our place. Our contact numbers are in the room as well as , on airbnb and we don't understand why you would not communicate with us immediately but would rather wait 2 days to leave and then complain . We would certainly have gone out of our way to try and solve all your issues, perhaps even move you to a room further away from the busy road if possible. You are most welcome to nevertheless return ( and we will give you 50% off the first day of your next stay if you do). Regards Shane and June

All I can say is , you won’t go wrong by choosing to stay at this accommodation, the owners are so friendly , and are quick to respond to any problem you may have , and they also offer cleaning service which is great
