Our home is a period property that started life as a church hall and has been tastefully converted to a quirky 2 bedroom house. A 20 minute walk to the city centre and train station or the bus stops right outside. There is parking for 1 car at the front and a small courtyard garden at the back.

Unique family home available for holiday let when not being used by the extended family. This is a period property, originally a church hall, tastefully converted to a quirky two bedroom house, situated in historic St Ninians, now a part of Stirling, the beautiful heart of Scotland. A short walk to the centre of the city and railway station (Edinburgh, Glasgow and the north) and convenient for exploring the Trossachs. There is a bus stop right outside, small shops and a pub across the road and Lidl's 100yards away. Stirling is heaped with history - close by remains the steeple of a church Bonny Prince Charlie blew up, the battle of Bannockburn was just up the road and you can visit the monument to Wallace and imagine battles on bridges. The castle is better than Edinburgh's and the views across the surrounding countryside offer spectacular examples of all those geological features you studied in school! There is parking for one car, plus free road side parking near by, and a small courtyard garden at the back. Secondary glazing and windows above head height makes this a surprisingly quiet and secluded property, given its situation beside a busy road.

La casa está muy bonita, aunque no estaba todo lo limpia de lo que estamos acostumbrados, aunque el anfitrión se mostró preocupado e incluso nos quiso mandsr alguien para limpiar, asi como para reponer cosas elementales.pero muy bien en general

Comfortable, clean, well-appointed and unique. Not right in the center of Stirling, but adjacent to a grocery and across the street from a little bar and bakery. Easy parking and updated bathrooms with a sweet little patio out back (if the rain takes a break!). Jo was super responsive before our stay and check-in/check-out was easy. A great first stop on our family-of-three's Scotland adventure.

After finally finding your house, we were happy to see how large a space it was. The bathrooms and linens were clean and fresh. Despite the location at well-traveled intersection, we did not notice traffic noise at bedtime. The proximity to a supermarket and the well-equipped kitchen were a bonus. Down-town restaurants were within walking distance. Overall, the property was quite adequate for a pleasant stay in Stirling. The hosts were responsive and provided exact instructions when one device presented us with a challenge.

Great location! We walked to many of the places we wanted to see. The house is large and the back patio was a great spot to eat breakfast. The house has many amenities that are great including umbrellas, shopping bags, puzzles and an innovative clothes drying rack. The house is very old and does have a musty smell to it due to its age but it was not too bad. I highly recommend Stirling and this house.

Great location with grocery store nearby. We walked to Stirling Castle and downtown. Very fun! Home was very cool, clean and nice. Beds and bathrooms great. Thanks!

Jo's place was charming. It was a bit difficult to find the entrance to the parking (but that may be because we're not used to Scottish roads). The house was warm and inviting. It had all that we needed. Jo communicated well, and we had no issues with our stay.
