A sunny guesthouse close to the bush, the beach, a waterfall and spring water pools. There is abundant bird life, and the air and water are clean and fresh. We are very close to a beautiful beach that is white sand and safe for swimming. We are within an eco village that is run solely on solar power and is a quiet and restful retreat space.
A piece of paradise perfect for total relaxation.
The guesthouse has only recently been built so it is new and clean and a sunny restful place to stay in. It is decorated with my fabric art and the colors throughout are bright and cheerful. You can sit on the sunny deck and admire the bush views and watch the native birds fly by and listen to the sound of the fresh water stream that comes from the waterfall and runs through the property. The guesthouse is self contained with a detached composting toilet and a solar hot water shower.

I am originally from Germany and immigrated to New Zealand 30 years ago. I did so because I was bringing up two children and wanted to provide them with a lifestyle where there is clean air and water and a safe environment. My children are now adults and I have a granddaughter.
I have travelled extensively throughout South East Asia and Europe and continue to do so.
I am a fabric artist. I have lived in this eco community in the northern part of the Coromandel Peninsula for the past 28 years.
We frequently host overseas visitors and love the exchange this brings.
