Youssef has a great apartment in a really fun and trendy area. I stayed at his place for two days and really enjoyed my time. Communication with Youssef was very easy and he was very responsive. I highly recommend Youssef and his apartment and will be staying there again next time I visit Paris.

Can not recommend this place enough! Amazing location: close to the red light district (with all the buzz, nightlife and tourist shops) but the street itself is lovely. Lots of restaurants on your doorstep, a few bakeries for your morning croissant fix, two supermarkets, and easy-to-walk-to métro stations nearby. You get little glimpses of Sacré-Cœur from the street and can walk (in a straight line - it's that close) to the famous church in 10 minutes! The studio apartment itself is small but feels cosy, not cramped. No aircon, but we survived a heatwave (35 degrees Celsius, down to 28 at night) with the fan (and we're Australians so trust us when we say it was hot!). Proper bed with a firm mattress, comfy couch and a full bathroom. We didn't use the kitchen so I can't comment on it. Lastly, Youssef was great: we couldn't communicate without wifi so all he had was the rough time we'd arrive and he waited patiently in the apartment for us, and didn't charge extra for making him meet us at night (lovely of him considering we arrived at 9:30pm).

This is a wonderful little place - right next to Pigalle in the hip & bobo 9th with lots of eating and drinking options...The main door is on the avenue, but the apartment is across the courtyard which means it's really calm and quiet. Big windows and a lovely parquet floor add to the atmosphere. There's ample space for one and all comfort for two - oh and the host is very welcoming and accommodating (I arrived very late) - thanks Youseff!

I think the two most important factors in an Airbnb are (1) the location and (2) the host. And you honestly cannot find either a better location or a better host in all of Paris (and I say this even though I myself have an apartment in Paris listed on Airbnb!). First, the location: on the beautiful (but calm and peaceful) avenue Trudaine, and literally just around the corner from the trendiest street in all of Paris (rue des Martyrs). There are a couple of small but very elegant-looking wine bars right outside the building perfect for a romantic evening. And of course plenty of cafés and restaurants all over this area, including the famous Kookaburra Café and Rose Bakery, as well as one of my favourite bakeries in Paris. Secondly, the host: Youssef is a really helpful, considerate host who goes out of his way for the convenience of his guests. You can see this right away from his flexible cancellation policy, and throughout the booking process as he is always available to answer questions and with an almost unbelievable rapidity. The apartment was also stocked with enough food and drink to last a month. I simply could not believe it... Lastly, the apartment itself is perfect - it's a studio but divided into a bedroom and living room space, with a separate kitchen, so more like a 1 bedroom flat. Also, it is evident that this apartment has been lived in, and is not one of those Airbnb chains which seem to be more and more common. But, like many people, I feel this is the true spirit of Airbnb. Also, it means you really do have everything you need to live - kitchenware, toiletries and even a box of medicines in the bathroom cabinet in case of a sudden migraine! So, to sum up, you cannot go wrong here. Don't hesitate. And thanks, Youssef, for a lovely stay!
