My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with older kids).
Enjoy a rustic, scenic, artistic retreat within commute of Boston and just a hop into Providence! You will be staying at an old cotton mill built in 1830, which sits on a pond and is abutted by a river and a waterfall, on over an acre. It is a quiet, open space in a small New England town which is home to Jeff Kinney of Diary of a Wimpy Kid fame, and the independent bookstore he built.
This cotton mill built 1830, is 3500 sq feet not including the above ground basement which housed the waterworks. It has its original hardwood floors and beams; I have just moved back after renting in Boston, and am in the process of updating and renovating the space. The listed rooms and main spaces are very finished and comfortable. I have pulled some banisters off of the front and back staircases, so it is not suitable for young children at the moment.

I am around but often busy and out of the house. Sometimes I will be on travel. The space is large and there are many areas to relax and enjoy the quiet scenery. Parking is ample. I can give you suggestions for the notable eateries you can find locally.
This is my home and I have taken great care to make it a beautiful environment. Please be respectful.

My home is unique, not perfect - if state-of-the-art bathrooms and kitchens are important to you, it's not there yet. If you are looking for charm, depth, and a warm, one-of-a-kind home that reflects an artist's touch, you've found it. There are indoor stairs to access the main floor, and outdoor stairs to move from the back deck to the garden.
Please no perfumes or fragrances while in the house

As an avid Airbnb traveler I have met many wonderful people around the world, and am ready to share my unique home with others in the same way. I am a former international trade attorney, working on a screenplay, and building my next design business.
