Jean-Baptiste was very welcoming and the house is located on a quiet alleyway, with public parking on a nearby street.
However, the house was very dirty. We were told that previous guests were to blame. Although Jean-Baptiste was cleaning as we arrived, there was still lots of dirt, especially beneath two of the beds - for example lots of dust, even old plasters - and we were all *bitten* each night we stayed! By the third night, we had to leave the house and stay at a hotel instead.
Also, on the first night the bed in my daughter's room partially fell through a rotten floorboard! The bed frame itself was also broken. We had to move her to another bedroom, laying on a mattress on the floor. We naturally asked Jean-Baptiste to replace or fix the bed, but he replied only to blame the breakage on the previous guest. Sadly, the bed and floorboard was not replaced or fixed.
The house is not suitable for families, especially those with children under 10. The second-floor bedroom is reached via a very steep staircase, the bannister on the second floor is very rickety, and some of the electric sockets are loose. The kitchen has little equipment with which to cook.
At a low price, we expected the accommodation to be basic, but a clean house with the correct number of beds advertised were necessary but unfortunately lacking.
