THE ROOM—The Peaceful Blossom
The guest room has a brand new semi-double bed. I’m big on comfort and on getting a good night’s sleep, so I’ve incorporated my preferences into the furnishings so my guests will also have a good night’s sleep.
You will enjoy an excellent quality, semi-firm mattress with a high quality memory foam topper. There are a variety of different density memory foam & down pillows to choose from. You will appreciate ample closet space in the bedroom and your private bathroom has a wonderful shower. For those warmer days, a Bionaire floor fan with remote control will keep you cool and the bedroom has its own lock and key. The room also has a small desk and a confortable office chair.
Along with free WiFi and unlimited calls to the US and Canada, you will have access to calls within Colombia. The apartment has excellent hot water, fully equipped kitchen, including utensils, toaster/convection oven, coffee maker, Breville blender, Ninja chopper, Pure water filter pitcher, (the tap water is good and safe to drink here, but just like in the US, the filter removes the chlorine and other particles to provide a better taste), brand new front loading washing machine, iron and full size ironing board, iPod Home docks and yoga mats. CLEANING SERVICE also included 2 times per month.
A well behaved child aged 7 and up is welcomed. 4 day minimum stay. There is an additional fee per person/night.
ABOUT THE HOSTESS
I was born in Bogota, Colombia, but I grew up and live most of my live in Chicago. I also lived in Lexington, Kentucky for 4 years where I worked as an English/Spanish interpreter for the Lexington Public School system and as a Montessori teacher’s assistant for 1.5-2 year old toddlers. I moved to Medellin, Colombia in 2016. Currently I work for home as an English/Spanish teacher and interpreter.
If you have special food requirements or preferences, and as an advocate of healthy and organic food, I can direct you to grocery stores that provide organic fruits, vegetables, vegetarian, gluten free items, and products for diabetics. There are also wonderful Farmers Markets throughout the city, mostly on weekends.
For a separate fee you can incorporate some unique options into your stay.
