The host, Ms.Mona, has been great and her home is incredible. She definitely has put a lot of thought into it being an eco-friendly place and it shows. It is a great place to get away from all the headaches of the urban life and have a peaceful yet social time. If you're planning a trip, do carry your toiletries along with you as those are not provided. But trust me, you'll definitely have a great time there. Thanks for the lovely time.

Loved it. We had an awsm experience. Best part about the place is it makes me remmbr of old times. Mona aunty(the host), has made this place in such a way tht you will get beautiful view around full of greenery. Sit out area is the best thing. There is a facility to play indoor games as well. Also bonfir is availabl at night. Food you have to order or you can get your stuff and cook urself. That means food is on paid basis. The itinerary wil have only beds for you. Food n all is not included in the itnerary. The only issue which i had faced is with the room. The room was attached with kitchen and sitout area. So whatver is cooked in kitchen it leaves an odour in the room and also lot of noise comes from the sitout area which is little irritating and quite disturbing. Rest evrythng was just perfect. We just loved our host. Hope to visit her again.

Beautiful house, very central but secluded at the same time. Mona's a great host and cares deeply about her place. Will definitely be back here again.

Ambience: beautiful! The house is very beautiful and the host has a great collection of books! The host is an old lady trying hard to maintain the house as much possible by her! But, I expected a little more since it's listed on Air B&B, which stands for Bed & BREAKFAST! Suggestion: please don't use any ingredients from the kitchen (even milk)- you'd be questioned unpleasantly. Expirience: Positive- the host gave a tour of her eco-friendly farm! She also shared very good information on it. Negative- the beds had Mice droppings and the whole house had that smell! The host encourages you first to feel free to use the kitchen and then expresses her dislike if we do! Infact we got our own milk powder, bread, butter, rice and just used the gas stove, tea powder, sugar, water and a few spices.

All together it was a great stay for us at this place. Tough we stayed for a day we loved each moment there. It is a old rustic house so don't except modern amenities. It reminded me of my grandma's home. Food was ok .. ok (might be because i am from different region of India). I got to show many things to my kids which is not possible in cities not even in my home place. The place was quite and calm. We were quite excited by learning the organic way the things are done. If you want to be close with nature and if you can live without the modern day luxuries then sure this is the place to go in mahabaleswar.
