My fiancé and I stayed in the Airstream on Chris and Pat's property as a "getaway" weekend trip. It was our first Airbnb experience and we loved every minute of it. We arrived to a very clean and well stocked Airstream (blankets, towels, firewood, beer, snacks, coffee, seltzer, hiking books, local maps, etc) on a beautiful piece of property. We spent the evenings by the fire listening to the crickets and nearby waterfall. Truly peaceful and beautiful. Chris and Pat are WONDERFUL hosts, excellent communicators, and some of the kindest people we've met. They told us about nearby breweries, great hikes, and local sites to check out. I cannot express how thankful my fiancé and I are for this wonderful experience.

I've always wanted to stay in an Airstream, so when I saw Chris' listing, I immediately reserved it. About an hour from Burlington, and just outside Montpelier, his spot is easy to find - yet feels peacefully off the beaten path. Pulling in to our own parking space, we were awed by their shiny 34' beauty, surrounded by cheerful flowers and an amazing scenic view (visible thru the bedroom window). A huge added plus was being greeted by Gus - super smart & friendly dog! Perfection from moment one! Chris and his wife Pat were gracious hosts - they left us water, coffee, snacks and drinks in the fridge, brought us wood for our fire pit, natural bug spray and a citronella candle, and recommended the farmer's market on Thursdays 5pm-8pm and a local by-donation pizza night on Friday nights. Their Airstream is spacious and immaculate, with a sofa area, a kitchen table & seating, bathroom with flushing toilet & roomy hot water shower, and bedroom area with super comfortable twin beds. I cooked a few meals on the 4-burner stove, & full size microwave - and was surprised at the roomy capacity of the fridge and freezer. Lots of screened-in windows allowed for great airflow throughout, & when closed, kept it warm inside at night. The a/c & fan were perfect for midday, too. Just down the road was a swimming hole with big rocks, that was great for cooling off in. Ben & Jerry's factory is close by, and so is Stowe. There's lots to explore in the area, but lounging in the Airstream with that postcard view, or playing with Gus was the best way to decompress! Thank you Chris & Pat! Hugs to Gus : )

Chris and Pat were great hosts. The airstream was an amazing spot to stay in and situated on beautiful land. It's very close to a river which made sitting outside even more relaxing by the fire pit. They brought over firewood for us, had some beers in the fridge and were very accommodating overall. We would definitely stay again!

The Airstream is clean, spacious and adorable. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. We definitely felt like the city was worlds away. Chris, Pat and their daughter were helpful and made the experience easy. They were excellent communicators and made sure that we were comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay, the hosts went out of their way to make everything so nice for our arrival. Fresh fruit, bottled water and a few other treats in the fridge. The location is spectacular and a few steps away from a waterfall. It's the perfect place to immerse yourself in the beautiful nature of Vermont. We highly recommend the Airstream and hope to return!
