Ski boots can be worn to the mountain, as the FREE TRANSIT BUS picks you up a half block away and drops you off very close to the lifts at Deer Valley and Vail's new Park City Mountain, now combined with Canyons Resort to create America's largest ski area at 7300 acres. From there, you can ride the new Quicksilver Gondola to the Canyons area. If you prefer to go directly to the people-moving gondola at Canyons base, it is about a 15-minute bus ride.
This spectacular town is also home to some of the best single track mountain biking trails in the country and the phenomenal Olympic Park, where you’ll find activities for people of all ages. During the summer months, try the alpine coaster or zipline at Park City Mountain Resort, visit the Jordanelle Reservoir for a variety of watersports or check out some outdoor live music at any of the nearby resorts. Other popular summer activities include horseback riding and hiking, while the colder months bring abundant opportunities for snowmobiling, snowshoeing and tubing, among several other options.
