Modern bathroom (recently fitted) with bath, sink toilet and Mira thermostatic shower over bath.

Modern kitchen with washing machine, fridge freezer, Kettle, Senseo Coffee Machine dishwasher, microwave. We supply you a small welcome pack to get your holiday started. All cutlery and crockery provided. Barbeque and Patio area outside kitchen. There is a bench outside on the patio for your relaxation and enjoyment. B&Q is 5 minutes drive if you need any BBQ bits.

The dining area and lounge are combined. Very large Dining Table with six chairs.

Large Lounge and dining room with comfy leather furniture and 40 inch TV/DVD and with some DVDS and games provided. Some books in the conservatory and lounge for you to read. WiFi is available throughout the property.

Small Everest Conservatory with a small wall mounted TV and two seater leather sofa. This area has fully concealed blinds and can be sealed off with a curtain so is very private.


Lots of private parking. Good safe area. Long distance seaview. Walking distance to Quarterbridge and Braddan Bridge on TT Circuit. 10 minutes drive or ride to start finish.

Just that I have owned and lived at the house personally for many years before moving on, getting married and multiplying. There is a part of my heart at the house and it is I feel perfect for a holiday or business break in Douglas.

Cooil House is a good size, clean very comfortable option for a holiday, break or business trip on the island.

There is a barbeque area too should the sun start to shine and your appetite leans towards burgers and sausages. Use of the outside barbeque is welcome but please clean the grill and utensils when you are done. USE THE BBQ CLEAN THE BBQ

There will be a welcome pack with some breakfast goodies plus an information booklet for you to look at upon your arrival. The welcome pack should explain all you need to know about the property, its amenities and the surrounding area too, including useful contacts and numbers. The accommodation is self catering and everything you need for a relaxing self catering break is included. My contact details are in the blue information booklet should you need to get in contact with me during your stay.

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS.

If you need a late check out subject to availabilty we will try to assist subject to a small charge fee. Up to 2PM £30 Up to 6PM £40 and £50 up to a maximun of 9PM. The amount would be billed to your credit/debit card and would be paid in advance.

You will be asked to vacate the property if I get a complaint. Your cooperation is appreciated. AGAIN. STRICTLY NO EVENTS OR PARTIES. THE POLICE WILL BE CALLED AND A VACATE REQUEST WILL BE MADE.

You will find the property nice and it is expected you leave it nice. Strictly no access to the landscaped banked area behind rear wall due to accident risk or the attic space either for obvious reasons.

If you use the barbeque please ensure you clean the grill, utensils and area after you finish. USE THE BBQ CLEAN THE BBQ

The property is not suitable for pets. Please do not be tempted to bring one. (No exceptions). There are other holiday properties on the island that will be glad to help.

The accommodation is in a semi detached house about 2 miles out of Douglas and is set in a quiet cul de sac. distant sea views from the front of the house. The location is very central for the Isle of Man. Handy if you got your own car but a little trek if you got to use public transport. Barry and Caroline were great hosts and met us on our arrival.

Barry supplied an extra bed at short notice, also collected items we post from the post office for us, dropped off a electrical charger for a tooth bush for one of the guys staying, the property gave us the flexibility of eating in including the bbq, the area is a quite residential location which is a half an hour walking for an energetic person to the sea front of Douglas, very enjoyable stay would love to come back.

Great find at a reasonable rate. All you need for you stay whether touring, TT or business. Wifi is a massive bonus. Barry and Caroline are great host and respond quickly .

Barry and Caroline were fantastic hosts, We are from Australia and have had excellent communication and help with everything needed for our trip to the isle of Mann! They both picked us all up at the airport & checked in with us during our stay at their very comfortable house , checking to see if we needed anything! Living on the Isle of Man for over 20 years, I'm friendly, honest and only ever a phonecall away. I have my own Taxi on the island and can help with any requests you might have. I'm married to Caroline who helps me with Airbnb and we have two little children that keep us extra busy. I'm a new host and intend to make Cooil House the best value on the island. The property has had an extensive facelift recently and hope you agree is looking rather dapper.

As a traveller I visit the UK and Ireland most frequently as that's where both mine and Caroline families reside. In Europe of all the places I've been Tenerife is probably my favourite.
