My studio is in a central location, around plenty of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores (Hmart, Whole Foods, Broadway Market). About 5-10min walk to the Central Square T-stop on one side, and a 5-10min walk to Harvard Square on the other side. You will have the place to yourselves, including a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has A/C, heat, and wifi.

Otros aspectos destacables

Hello, and thank you for looking at my apartment! Here are a few things to note before you book:

1. This is a studio apartment, and I won't be around. Since I live here during the week days (when I go to school), my clothes are under the bed and in the back of the closet. The front of the closet, as well as the dresser next to the bed, are all yours.

2. I live in an old brick building with lots of charm (and associated wear and tear), so this is not a good place for someone who expects an updated modern apartment and upscale experience. I will have clean sheets, blankets, pillows and bath towels. I also will provide shampoo, shower gel, and toothpaste, but please bring your own toothbrush.

3. I don't have a TV or microwave, but plenty of space for your laptop, plus a full kitchen with pots and pans, oil, condiments, etc.

4. Finally, if you are here to visit Boston, my apartment is near Harvard but not in Boston. It is a short trip to Boston downtown - 6 minutes walking to the train station, and then a 15min train ride.

5. There is no free guest parking. There is a few metered street parking spots right in front of the apartment. It's a fairly quiet street so it's not terribly difficult to snag one of these spots. Parking is free on Sunday and at nights. There are also several parking garages/lots around the area.

Shelley's apartment was perfect for us. We felt very comfortable staying there for the night and walked to a nice restaurant for dinner. We got lucky and were able to park right out in front of the building (we stayed on a Saturday night) - it was really a great experience!

Shelly's place is in a great location, very close to red line and Harvard. Whole foods, Walgreens, and Target are all nearby as well. Bed was super comfortable for those with back concerns. Freely very safe walking around at night. Highly recommended

Shelley has a comfortable apartment in a great location. Check in was a breeze and everything was just as described. A great base for exploring Cambridge and Boston.

Shelly's place is a great location between Harvard and Central squares. I stayed there with my partner, and it served as a great home base for two people - clean and spare, but with what you need. The mattress is nothing fancy, but it's in good condition, firm memory foam and we tired ourselves out on the reg so we slept like the dead. I imagine it's not usually a huge issue in Boston, but we happened to be there on the hottest weekend of the year. The AC unit is a mighty beast and can chill the small bedroom/studio space with ease, though the kitchen and bathroom remained warm. Since we weren't cooking, it didn't affect us much, and most of the time, Cambridge isn't 95 degrees, but it's something to be aware of depending on your plans. Also, as we traveled near the summer solstice, we didn't think about how sunny the "sunny studio" would be at like, 5am at this latitude (nature yay!) but again, that's not an issue for everyone, or all the time. Personally I liked it. My husband like, needs a cave to sleep in. Though we could hear people moving around at times during the day, no one was every crazy loud; it was pretty peaceful. I love traveling light, and so I mega-appreciated that there was a hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner (it's on the listing so I assumed it was ok to use it, thanks Shelly!); that saves a lot of weight and hassle when flying. There's plenty of space to work at the desk if you need to do that. There's also hanging closet space. About midway through, the shower curtain tension rod fell down and seemed it had gasped it's last breath. It was a bit old and we struggled with it for some time, but couldn't rehang it. This was really our only complaint that affected our lives, and will be simple enough to fix. Likewise some of the blinds are damaged and can't fully be closed, but this did not affect us much. There's a coffee shop across the street, and it is true that the location is super-convenient to the Harvard and Central Red Line stations. We used to live in the area so we were familiar with it already, but you're in walking distance of a Target, a ton of coffee shops, lots of food, the post office, ice cream (super important), Whole Foods, H Mart, the Y (there's a solid gym in there), etc - great spot. There are Hubway bike rentals nearby too (bring your own helmet) and the 1 bus picks up right outside the place on Mass. The immediate area is peaceful and safe at night (Central gets a bit hairy, and we used to live RIGHT on that corner - Shelley's place is far enough off to be quiet but still convenient. Perfect.) We didn't need to communicate with Shelley much - we got in very easily, and didn't find the...
