We live in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. We enjoy the beauty of the mountain vistas and gorgeous sunrise/sunsets we have been privileged to enjoy since living here. There are miles of hiking trails with water falls and picturesque mountains, forests and streams for trout fishing and swimming holes to explore in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, not to mention the countless things to do on the parkway in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and for the quieter explorer there is the serene beauty of Douglas lake with some great fishing for Crappie, Bass and Catfish or simply taking a boat tour of the lake with over 550 miles of shoreline, a surface area of over 30,000 acres and 43 miles in length. You can see bald eagles flying and nesting around the lake as well as many other forms of wildlife that live in the area.
