All in all Nikki's place worked out ok for us. It has a convenient location where you can walk to several restaurants and shops are only a short drive. However, the residence was not quite what we expected as the cleanliness while not bad wasn't as good as expected, For example, …

It was nice living like a local staying in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood yet so close to local charm and tourist hotspots. Thoughtful hosts and friendly neighbors make it feel like a home away from home.

Make sure to understand that Hawaii is humid place. It was great to have an access to laundry machines.

The host is nice and they keep to themselves. House is pretty far from any beach so if you don’t have a car it’ll be pretty hard for you. It was a good price if you’re not planning on spending any time at your rental. It wasn’t very scenic for lounging around at the house and get…

Thanks for taking time to point out that we are logistically 5 miles outside of Waikiki proper. It takes me 8 min. to drive down to Kai'mana beach from the house, as well as, Diamond Head lookout, Black Point beach, the Aquarium and Zoo. It's also about 5 min. and 3 miles to Diamond Head national park where many visitors go to hike daily. What is even more amazing is that we have a 2 min. access to the H-1 freeway West to Pearl Harbor, North Shore and Kailua, or East to Hanauma Bay, Ka'iwi shoreline and Sandy Beach. In comparison, people in Waikiki can wait in traffic along Kapahulu Ave. for 15 min. just to get to the H-1 West on ramp In other words, we are setting up shop at Sandy beach by the time someone in Waikiki is finally getting on Kalanianaole Hwy. to start the journey there. It's just a matter of preference. Everyone wants to see Time Square once, then like Waikiki it can be overwhelming. Our home is quaint, quiet, but not extravagant. We are in an dynamic neighborhood that many visitors long for and locals flock to daily. We like to offer a "local experience," something like staying in the E. Village versus Time Square. We don't have a pool to lounge by, or a fitness center, but there is a nice "local vibe" if you walk a few blocks and enjoy some of the bars, restaurants and shops where Hawaiians hang out. You won't find that in Waikiki and we do hope you enjoyed your stay overall. Aloha.

We were gone everyday from morning til evening exploring Oahu but it was so nice and convenient to be able to crash each night at Nikki’s place. Being able to cook some meals and use the washer/dryer was a big plus. We checked in very late the first night. Nikki had some iced te…

We had travel troubles arriving and departing. On arrival, it was nearing dark and raining. I misread the house numbers and Nikki ran out in the rain to guide us in. Greeted with an aloha and several reassurances, she escorted us into the unit. On departure day, we missed our in…

Nikki was wonderful and helpful. The place is a bit crowded and claustrophobic for 4 people. One bedroom only has windows that open into the kitchen. The living area space is a bit strange. But it's nice to be close to town.

We are a fun-loving family who really enjoys living in Hawaii. Some of our favorite things to do are hike, surf, and swim. We have enjoyed getting to "step into a locals life" by staying in airbnb's in New York and France. As guests we are grateful for cleanliness and good locati…
