Our 1903-built (and largely renovated) house is part of a small inner court in the historical centre of Haarlem. It is somewhat secluded and the court gets closed every night, so it is safe and quiet - night and day.
Shops, bars, restaurants, museums, canals, Spaarne river and Haarlem's Main Square are just around the corner.
From the station (15 min walk) there are trains to major cities (Amsterdam 12 min) or the beach (8 min).
The ground floor contains a bathroom with shower, a well equipped kitchen including dish washer, a living room and bright orangery with access to a patio (south east). In the patio you can have breakfast, a coffee and/or a smoke.
The second floor is the bedroom, overlooking the patio and courtyard on the back of the house, with a double bed and a sink.
20 Mbps Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire house, and both living- and bedroom have a TV.
We're a Dutch couple. Willem is a handyman and Vonnie is a translator. We try to travel as much as possible. Being Italy lovers, our main destination is Italy, but we like to visit other countries as well. During our travels our nice little house with patio in the centre of Haarlem is available for fellow-travellers.
