I stayed at Robert's place with my husband and two children. The apartment is very welcoming with two separate bedrooms, a large bathroom, small, but functional kitchen, and a very open living space. We felt comfortable and immersed in a very Parisian apartment. The neighborhood is very nice, with many cafes, bakeries, shops and stores all around it. There are several Metro stations very close by (5 min walk). Robert was great host - very easy to work with. I definitely recommend staying here!

Robert's apartment was a great place to stay. Very clean, great location (although actually in 18th district, on the edge of the 9th). Check-in was very easy and Robert was very accessible to answer questions, etc. via email or text. Two bedrooms with three beds allowed a family of four (two teenage kids) to stay here, although the 4th bed is a small twin at best ( by American standards). The living area floor boards are a bit old and creaky, as advertised, but added to the character of the place. The skylights and large windows allow much light to enter the living area. The kitchen is very small, but functional, but we didn't use it for cooking meals, just storing food in the fridge and using the dishwasher. Overall this is an good place that was clean and that fit our budget and we would stay there again.

This is a charming place. The sitting room, in the rear of the unit, is half glass with a large skylight and tall windows looking out over the rooftops of Montmartre. The two front bedrooms were comfortable with large windows for plenty of air and light. We used the apartment as a base for exploring Paris and it worked perfectly. There are stops for two different Metro lines a short walk from the apartment and we were at any museum or sight in Paris very quickly and easily. The neighborhood is lively, with fantastic bakery downstairs and many restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. The apartment is far enough from Sacre Coeur so that you don't see those tourist hordes, but close enough to walk if you feel like it. You can easily stock the apartment with fruit, juice, coffee and whatever you need at a store on the way home from the Metro. The apartment has everything you need, but the kitchen is small and more suitable for pulling together a quick meal rather than cooking a five course feast. But, who goes to Paris to cook for themselves? The spacious bathroom seemed newly finished, the beds were comfortable and the linens fresh and clean. This is not a place for wild evening gatherings, as the floor in the main room is a little creaky. Again, who goes to Paris to stay in in the evenings? The host was very kind and accommodating -- he let us check in early since we arrived on a red-eye flight. He also gave us restaurant recommendations for the neighborhood. Do take his advice! The restaurant La Vache et le Cuisinier was the most memorable meal we had in Paris. Thank you Robert for a delightful trip.
