The house is close to Sandy Hook Beach Park, Twin Lights, Hartshorne Woods, many restaurants and tiki bars. The room is retro 60's. You’ll love my place because of the coziness and the location. It's great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
I provide a continental breakfast that you can enjoy inside or on any of the out door decks.
Please read my profile sheet for more info about the area.

Welcome to the Highlands! One of the best kept beach secrets on the east coast! It's a great little town right next to Sandy Hook State Park and Beach. It has easy access to NYC by Seastreak Ferry and is just 10 miles off of the Garden State Parkway Exit 117 (Yes, that answers the cliche question "Which Exit"? :) )
I'm a Jersey native and restaurant industry professional currently on a hiatus enjoying free time, sunshine and the beach! I've spent much of my career traveling, so I try to bring some of my favorite hotel features to my home to make it as comfortable and relaxed as possible for my guests.
I love to travel, but never during the summer because I already live in one of the nicest beach areas in the country. I hate to miss a day here in the summer.
I enjoy cooking, going to NYC, museums and I'm a big fan of live music. We have many great local places to listen to music in the area... from rock to jazz to an occasional symphony. The Count Basie Theater in Red Bank has a wide variety of entertainment as do some of the clubs in Sea Bright, Asbury and here in the Highlands.
Please feel free to inquire with any questions you may have about the space and the area. I look forward to meeting you!
