We spent four nights at David's place and I'd totally recommend it to people looking for an affordable yet well located and pretty comfortable place in London. One of the best things about the apartment is its location: just 10 minutes walking from Vauxhall station (Victoria line - Zone 1... which is great to save transportation money!), 20 minutes from Westminster Bridge and close to pubs and supermarkets. The room itself is very very small, but if you just need to spend the night there it has everything you need: a really comfortable double bed, a small wardrobe, a desk and a mirror, and even a TV - although we didn't turn it on. The bathroom is shared with other four double bedrooms, so if you are in a hurry in the morning it can be a bit of a problem, but it wasn't for us. David seems to make a good effort to keep the apartment in good conditions. The bathroom was very clean, the kitchen on the other hand could have used a a bit more cleaning, but if you're not too fussy it's okay overall. It was very well equipped, with oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine, drier, etc. and there's coffee, milk, tea, bread and cereals for breakfast. David was really nice to us when we arrived, he keeps some London guidebooks in the house and was willing to give us all the information that we needed. Communication with him was a bit difficult before our arrival as he wasn't answering our messages and we had to call him to make sure that everything was okay, but at the end everything worked out perfectly and we had a great stay at his place.
