Stephanie was great in her online correspondence! This location is a bit out of the way, so keep that in mind if you're looking to do things closer to Waynesville or Canton. I would not stay here if you don't have four wheel drive..you can make it up but the wear & tear makes it almost not worth it. The other owner was prompt in helping us get the TV to work..Nothing against the owner but I wouldn't stay here again.

The cabin is pleasant, a good value and close to some great fishing access and beautiful areas of the park. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful with local info. Also a nice book with tips in the cabin.

Absolutely stunning! Perfectly secluded for our romantic mountain honeymoon! DISCLAIMER: PLEASE listen to Stephanie when she says to arrive in daylight. The road up to the home is a narrow dirt road and slightly terrifying in the dark for the first time up. Would definitely stay again! Make sure you visit The Gnome Bake Shop!

We enjoyed our stay here. Stephanie was very quick to respond to my questions and a great host. The cabin is up a pretty steep gravel hill (don't recommend driving up or down for the first time in the dark!) but it was quaint with lovely views. The cabin itself was nicely decorated and comfortable though it looks like they might still be finishing up some stuff - particle board ceilings and flooring covered with carpets. The porch was great to sit on and drink coffee in the mornings. I even saw some cute deer out there our last morning! The fire pit outside was great - we had fun making smores. Overall we had a great time and I would definitely stay here again!

This is a wonderful, secluded spot just outside of Asheville. We were able to easily make day trips to places like apple orchards and breweries, and return to the house before dark. The house is private and quiet. There are other houses around, but that does not take away from the secluded, peaceful feel. FYI, AT&T had full cell service but T-Mobile had none at the house (I preferred not having a phone!).

Florida Native that calls North Carolina her second home. I LOVE to travel and will do so on a moments notice! "Have Passport....Will Travel" is the motto I live by. I have been a self employed Marketing Consultant for over 25 years which makes me a bit of a Free Spirit. I spend as much time as possible in North Carolina and am so very excited to be able to be a host on Airbnb with my cabin. It has been a great joy putting all of the pieces together....I am loving all of my guests and their stories!

I love to travel to exotic places and have been to East Africa, Morocco, India and Nepal as well as most of Western Europe.

I have an eclectic taste when it comes to music...loving everything from Jazz to Country....When I am not traveling, my favorite pastime is cooking from a vast collections of cookbooks I have collected over the years. I am always on the lookout for new cooking styles when I travel.

My husband and I have two college aged is solo backpacking the world since he graduated college..the other is a super senior at Florida State University.

I always appreciate a great place to stay....love a good value in a great area with a responsive host. I try to be the same. We allow up to a mid sized pet...because we like to travel with our 14 year old Scottish Terrier ...good places are hard to find!

My life motto's (besides "have passport..will travel") include:

Roam Free!
What goes around comes around....
Always be/do your best!
