Your first contact was by e-mail at 8:08pm, asking if you could stay. As I didn't immediately see it, I couldn't reply. Even so, you booked the apartment at 8:56pm, which is when you first acquired my phone number. You started phoning me at 9:30pm. We spoke around 10pm. I must say your persistant calls followed by your insistant demeanour from the start of our phonecall caught me off guard. I had been at a social gathering. As far as I was aware when I went out for the evening there was no last minute booking as the latest permitted arrival time of 6pm had passed. I didn't know you could book an apartment for the same day after the final arrival time without permission from the host. So, that is why I said it was nonsensical that the site had let you. I chose to allow the use of instant booking so I would never say it was stupid. Happily, Airbnb found you alternative accomodation with a 'younger' host, but I am at a loss to find that age could be a factor in your rating... Do you know how old I am? I find it unfair that you were allowed to leave a comment when you didn't even stay in the apartment. You are also an Airbnb host, so you know how such a comment can harm a host's overall rating. What's more you have given ratings on the cleanliness and location of the apartment when you didn't even step foot in it. How can it be possible that Airbnb allow you to do this when they, and you, know that such ratings are given falsely? What could you wish to accomplish by doing this?
