Our stay at Donnie's home was very nice. We were only there for the weekend, but Donnie and his wife were very accommodating and very sweet, although the language barrier was an issue at time. They helped us with all sorts of extra things we inquired about and were kind through the whole experience. The home was spotless, clean, and exactly as described. The addition of the private bathroom in the room was lovely. It is a quick walk from the heart of Toronto's chinatown and public transportation to the rest of the city. The street is very safe and has a distinctly suburban feel.
The only thing I could really say that did not go entirely smoothly was that we had thought there was free parking, as we drove there, because on the listing it states that there is free parking on the premises. This may have been due to a language issue, but there was no long term parking. You can park for an hour but nothing overnight. We found parking close by which was only $5 a day on weekends, so it wasn't a big issue, just a bit confusing. Overall though, it was a lovely stay!
