Close to Brick Lane, Shoreditch and Spitalfields. Great for the city with two tube lines and a direct bus to Oxford Circus. There are several local shops, a branch of the Foxcroft and Ginger cafe, good Thai and Italian restaurants and even a local cinema within 5 minutes walk. It is in an historical building next to a small park and has a view of the Shard and the London skyline. My flat is cosy, comfortable and quiet and is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Please be clear about how many people are staying at the flat at the time you make your booking. The maximum number of guests is 2. Please note there is only one bed and no suitable alternative places to sleep in the flat.
I live in London and work as a freelance consultant in the cultural sector. When travelling, I normally (but not always) travel alone and prefer to spend my time visiting galleries and museums, looking at architecture and going to concerts and the theatre (if I can understand the language) - rather than clubs, pubs and parties.
My favourite cities are Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Mexico City, Moscow and New York. I love the books of Howard Jacobson, Meir Shalev, Batya Gur, Isaac Bashevis Singer and Orhan Pamuk as well as the films of Ronit Elkabetz, Ohad Knoller and Hannah Laszlo. I am a big jazz fan and enjoy the music of Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dianne Reeves, Avishai Cohen and Nicola Conte as well as the all-time greats. I don't eat meat (often) or fish/ shellfish (ever) but love fruit, bread, sweet things and coffee!
