We choose Mille's house to experience danish lifestyle but we received much more.
Mille made an outstanding effort to make our stay a really unique.
We arrived at late night, Mille prepared a real "hygge" welcome: house was full of candles, wine on the table, supplies for breakfast etc. House itself comes from the end of 19th century, with modern, well designed, danish style, clean, high quality interiors. Additionally there is a small front yard, perfect to park bikes, and backyard nicely covered by wood like a big terrace, separated from neighborhood by wooden panels. All place is plenty of flours and plants.
It's easy to get this place by public transport. The easiest way from the airport is by train to the Osterport station , then 10 min walk - we did it pulling our luggage. ( use shortcut - path in front of Esajaskirke, which connects Malmogade with Hellinsgade). Otherwise you can combine metro/train with bus which stops 3 min. walk away from the house. There is common ticket for metro/train/bus, you have to buy the one for 3 zones to travel from the airport to the house. It can be done either in vending machines on railway platforms (by cards, notes) or from bus drivers (cash).
The area is peaceful and beautiful, close to all interesting places in the city.
We got guidelines from Mille which helped us to make a selection according to our interest.
All of that made our stay really unique and we strongly recommend Mille's place.
