A genuine foodie delight within a short walk; equal stroll to New Seasons Grocery or The Kennedy School. Plus, we are 2 blocks from the sweet Alberta boutique/cafe/restaurant district and around the corner from a myriad of fine well- known restaurants, shops, cafes, bars, even Yoga. 3 levels with 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms.

——  Street level provides - A King Bedroom, A Double Twins’ bedroom with an additional trundle pull-out (3), full bath with shower/bath, washer-dryer, smaller kitchen and living area

—— Second/Main level provides -a Queen Bedroom, Full Bath, well-equipped Kitchen, Spacious Living/Dining room, TV, Washer-Dryer, front Porch with seating and then a back Deck with seating, BBQ, in a fenced yard

—— Upper/Third Level provides -a King Bedroom with Master Bathroom, en suite. A Double Twins’ bedroom with an extra Pull -Out cot, and yet Another Full Bath (with notice and a longer stay, the two twins can be a King bed instead of 2 twins)

—— Cribs, highchairs, gate, toys, cooler ,etc. available

—— High-speed WIFI, 5 TVs with satellite Direct TV and/or Blu- Ray players, A/C

—— The 4 Full Bathrooms provide 4 showers and 3 bathtubs, and 5 sinks

KITCHEN facilities are set to cook a gourmet meal with pots, serve-ware, a microwave, dishwasher, gas stove and oven, tea kettle and of course, coffee makers (and organic coffee beans). The house can accommodate everything from an elaborate Thanksgiving dinner to a take- out meal
You can reheat leftovers from many delicious local restaurants all around the neighborhood or around town. There is an abundance of places to enjoy.

Main level dining room table will accommodate 10+ chairs and there is a bar counter with an additional 3 bar stools. Back up chairs for the larger dinners. Please share your special plans with me so I can help sort the details on my end.
There is also a full kitchen on the lower level, with a living area, and an additional smaller table.

RELAX sip and chat away the day on the large front porch or on the back deck in a private and fully fenced backyard with a gas BBQ and fruit trees.
Seasonal table and chairs. 

BICYCLES welcome and a place to lock them provided out back. Ride on the Urban bicycle “highway” 4 blocks up. Rent them on Alberta Street. Or rent a BikeTown bike all over town. Car Share is abundant here.
FREE ON-STREET PARKING in front of the house

You’ll see that in our reviews it is often mentioned that this home is a well-appointed rental, and that you can feel comfortable that your host will ensure that you, too, will have a reliable and consistent home for your vacation/work trip.
-13 people max includes the extra twin, the pull-out cot, plus a crib. With the usual set-up that you see in the pictures, it accommodates 10 people double occupancy, plus a kid or 2. That's the sweet spot. I'm always flexible when it makes sense.

If I had my way, I would call every one of my guests to make this a more personal and secure experience, as I love hosting. This rental is an exclusive listing, as there aren't many available permitted large homes actually in Portland. Knowing, too, that it is complex to book a trip with multiple families, weddings, etc., I kindly ask that you contact host before securing your booking, if you have any questions, whatsoever, to make sure I can meet your expectations/needs. I make it a priority to respond quickly.

Fortunately, it'd be impossible (and silly) to discriminate with gender, ethnicity, or ability, etc. Let me know if you need anything.

Come and go as you please. Check yourself in after 4:30PM. Custom-coded front door access. - Please remove your shoes before entering the house, as our rainy weather can leave quite a dirty trail. At booking, you'll receive a rental agreement via email to be filled in with guests names and returned with a copy of your ID and a signature. This is crucial to help me feel comfortable having perfectly lovely strangers enjoy my home. Closer to arrival, you’ll receive a Welcome email to share with everyone with all the details you'll need to find the house, etc. Please share this, as its the most current information. It makes for a smoother vacation. Enjoy!

By the time you arrive, you'll have been given many resources for your trip here. If there's something specific that you'd like to eat nearby, I'm happy to share if I know your likes and budget. There is literally something for everyone. Our neighborhood is very accommodating, including ample donuts and Salt and Straw.

This listing is for a home with three floors with a front porch, back deck, seasonal BBQ and A/C. First floor is street level entrance.
Everything you could need or want is within close walking proximity.
All Children are welcome. When you make the booking, please put them in the "child" category (not infant).
Please refrain from smoking (weed, e-cigs, cigs) on the property. Outside away from the house is fine.
Pets: I cannot allow them, unless it's a special circumstance. Service animals are a different matter. Kindly let me know, so I can better prepare and accommodate you.
When you are ready, Before you do an instant book/instant confirmation, please “CONTACT HOST” under the listings’ information and let me know who you are, what your plans are and how many people you have and the makeup of all of our future guests.
I have a process to booking that allows for an in- kind exchange to feel comfortable having a group of friendly strangers in my home. It works well for my guests’ experience from booking through vacation.
 I would love to host you, yet I have weekend minimums (below) for a variety of reasons. I also can no longer accept bachelor parties, or all male groups with more than 3 unrelated people nor over 8 people. This doesn’t apply to Church groups. We host a lot of family wedding guests, girls weekends, reunions, graduations, bachelorette parties, even. I have minimum nights and maximum number of guests because in 6 years of hosting,  I find they work best for me/the house and mostly for my guests, many of whom are unrelated friends.  If you have no reviews, you won't be able to Instant Book. Just Contact Host. We get a lot of Airbnb newbies.
This house, while in a neighborhood full of places to eat and drink, is also on a residential street, and in an effort to maintain respect for my neighbors, we ask our guests to keep the noise levels down outside around the house to 10PM-8AM. Inside is your call. Plenty of places to party nearby.

Please NOTE: In the busy/ holiday seasons, we generally require a 5 night minimum if your stay includes a weekend night, but there are many exceptions (ie. Winter), based on availability, other bookings, season, next 30 days, etc. This platform limits ways to make that clear in the settings. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Please “contact host” with any inquiries. I make it a priority respond quickly. 
Check-In is at 4:30PM. Check-out is at 10:30AM.
After confirmation, The Rental agreement will follow in a separate email. We ask you to read it through and fill it in and return it within 24 hours with a manual signature and a copy of the ID of the person whom used their credit card to pay for the reservation. This helps me feel as confident as possible as I prepare for virtual strangers to enjoy my rental home.

We absolutely loved everything about this house! We had a group of 10 and was able to be very comfortable with lots of space and everything we needed for our stay. The place was very clean and well organized with all things modern. We had such a wonderful experience with the ability to walk to coffee, shops, and restaurants. We can't wait to come back and stay there again!

Great location, tons of food and drink within a half mile walk. Place is large, clean, and has everything you could possibly need for a large group. Also really appreciated the extra touches to make it family friendly: baby gate, cribs, kids silverware... they really thought of everything!

This place is nice, comfortable, and has everything you could need for a great stay in a terrific neighborhood of Portland. The house is centrally located in the NE/Alberta neighborhood, and within walking distance to anything you could possibly want - great restaurants, supermarket, etc. - and very convenient to the airport too! The accommodations are exactly as described. Plus, it was impeccably clean, with super comfortable beds.
