Lovely 2-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home in Colonia Guadalupe on a quiet tree-lined street. Easy FLAT walking, close to everything that makes this city so desirable. No car needed! Steps from the health food market, grocery store, and numerous restaurants. Five minutes by foot to the center of town, 7 minutes to Fabrica Aurora, and 2 blocks from the artisan market. Colonia Guadalupe is known for its mix of Mexican and foreign families, artists and colorful murals.
I live in this home several months of the year, and comfort is important to me! Bedroom 1 features a high end memory foam mattress and flat-screen TV. Bedroom 2 has two extra-long twin beds that can be made up as a king. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and Juliette balconies. The living room furniture is from Pottery Barn, and the couch can double as a bed for an unexpected overnight guest. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all conceivable gadgets and equipment for trying your hand at whipping up a Mexican meal. Both the sitting area and living room have gas heaters. There is a mini fridge on the terrace to keep your drinks chilled, a dining table and chairs, comfortable seating by another gas fireplace. Casa Lupita also features a whole-house water purification system. My housekeeper, Irma, goes the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable (and help you with your Spanish if you so desire!).
Disponible para huéspedes
The upstairs hall closet door will be left unlocked so you can gain access to the router in case it needs to be reset. I have personal items stored in that closet and also in one of the closets in Bedroom 2 and would appreciate guests respect that these areas are off-limits.
Atención a los huéspedes
I will probably not be in town when my house is being rented but have a property manager who will be able to assist in the event of problems. I am always reachable via phone, messaging, and email to answer questions.
Otros aspectos destacables
The Casa Lupita manual, left on the shelf in the dining area, outlines more pertinent house details with dining suggestions, maps, and places of interest. San Miguel is a vibrant city with many cultural opportunities in the form of language, cooking, and art classes, performances and festivals, and many visitors feel that a month stay is just not enough time to experience all the city has to offer.

Durante el período del 01 de Octubre de 2017 - 15 de Abril de 2018 la estancia mínima es de 90 noches.

Retired social worker, now volunteer English teacher living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world! I have two grown children who both live in New York, and from time to time love to visit them--and have them visit me here. In addition to teaching I rescue and rehabilitate street dogs, enjoy salsa dancing, and am resolved to learn enough Spanish so I can converse easily with just about anyone. I've owned homes and rented them out in the past, and understand what it means as a renter to respect another person's property and as a "landlord" provide a comfortable environment for visitors. I've lived on both coasts in the U.S. and have traveled to Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and South America, with lots of countries still on my to-visit list!
