This is a very good place to stay at if you are going to Tokyo. It has everything that you would need during your stay, such as toiletries and a hairdryer. There was even a mini fridge that was very useful since we like to buy some food and desserts to have at the end of the day. There is paperwork on the table that gives you clear instructions on things like doing the laundry, turning on the air-con, the shower, etc. The apartment was very clean and elegant, which can be considered much better than staying in cheap hotels. We stayed for 4 nights mainly to explore Tokyo, and the journey to and from the accommodation wasn't too bad, as it's a 20-min walk (or 7-min walk and 5-min bus ride) to the Asaka train station (or Asaka-dai), and from there, it can take at least 40 mins to places like Shinjuku and Shibuya (do mind when you go home that the last trains are around midnight to 1 am from the connecting station Ikebukuro). If you're not used to journeys this long, or you plan to carry around a lot of shopping everyday, maybe it's better to stay nearer to the centre of Tokyo (or make use of the lockers available in most stations). Nevertheless, the host was very responsive by e-mail and was able to quickly answer questions that we had.
