We stayed for a month in this cute little bungalow. The upstairs space was nice. Considering the heat we had during our visit we were pleasantly surprised how much cooler it was upstairs than it was outside due to the ocean breeze and shade on the bungalow. Locals in the area were friendly. We really enjoyed the wildlife in the surrounding area such as hummingbirds, other birds, iguanas, lizards of all sizes, scorpions, and even turtles and alligators at the beach. There were mosquitos but we brought with us bug repellant and Jess gave us a net for the bed so we were not tortured by them. The wi-fi was good considering how rural the area is but it did get spotty at times. Jess is super friendly and helpful. She was kind enough to let us check-in early and then accommodate us when our plans changed. Definitely bring ear plugs as the neighborhood dogs and rooster can get quite rowdy at night. We felt that the downstairs did not quite match the photos, but it was sufficiently utilitarian. Zicatela Breeze is a good area to stay but it is quite far from the center of town. However, we discovered the "collectivos" and enjoyed riding them with locals and the occasional other tourists.

After a month at Jess's bungalow, I didn't want to leave! She made me feel more like family than a guest. But I also felt like I had a very private space to myself, which is what I wanted. Mother Nature was a bit wild during my stay, but during some big storms, Jess was very kind to let me stay in a more covered room. The bungalow is basic, yet has all you need for a great stay in La Punta! Even thought this is southern Mexico, the breeze in the loft keeps it cool at night. I appreciated Jess's invitations to community activities--it is much more than just a "place to stay". If you come to Puerto Escondido, be open to all of the possibilities! Beauty and new friends await! Gracias, Jess!

My stay in the bungalow at Los Milagritos was serene and oh so relaxing! The location is excluded yet just a skip away from all the magic that La Punta has to offer! The wifi was fast and the garden was such a peaceful place to work. I loved the spacious upstairs and the beautiful sunset views! Jess was so welcoming and always easy to reach! Gracias Jess! I hope to return soon to work on my surfing! :)

I was a gypsy for years and now i felt the need to give back by opening a space and give what i loved of most spaces i keep in my heart.
I would like all our guests to feel at home and always keep Los Milagritos in a good place of their hearts and feel they can come back any time.
I try to give guests their space but make them know i am available if they need any help, i live next door so i am available most mornings, i am around watering the plants and making sure everything is going ok.
I am very spiritual and one of my missions is to bring my guests closer to that energy of peace, relaxation, magic and miracles.
