Now with Home Cinema for a cozy night in!
Situated on the edge of Lanhydrock Estate, the National Trust's finest house in Cornwall, Cross Cottage provides an ideal base for exploring the extensive network of unspoilt riverside and woodland walks around Respryn and the River Fowey. Recently restored and extended to a very high standard, the cottage was built in 1850 in the picturesque 'gothic revival' style and incorporates a fine example of medieval Celtic cross within its front walled
The stunning countryside in the cottage's immediate surroundings will keep you enthralled for the whole of your week. Should you wish to travel further afield Bodmin Parkway mainline railway station can be located at the other end of a pleasant walk through the National Trust 'Station Walk'. The A30 is a short drive away, though unseen and unheard from the cottage, offering quick access to the North Cornish Coast. On the south coast, the idyllic fishing ports of Charlestown, Fowey, Polperro and Looe are close by.

If we around then we would love to meet you and talk about great days out in Cornwall.
Due to the country location and the very poor Broadband speed. We have included a 4G WIFI home router to get you online during your stay. The speed of this is much better but unfortunately we need to limit the data to 10GB per week. Any additional Broadband usage must be purchased separately. Of course you can also use your own 3G/4G device on your network.
