Our "home sweet home" is close to Acadia National Park, family-friendly activities, beach, hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing and water sports. You’ll love my place because of the kitchen, the views, the peaceful and quiet location, the coziness, the wonderful porch and the magical sound of the loons at night. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. We do NOT allow any parties or get togethers of any sort. We are very strict in our maximum occupancy.
Our home is located on a quiet and peaceful Beech Hill Pond, just 40 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We have a beautiful porch to sit day or night and enjoy the beauty of the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, the loons sing to you. You may also decide to have a campfire in the fire pit by the lake; we love to roast marshmallows and sing a few songs. There are nearby hiking trails; just 5 minutes to the Clifton Cliffs. You may also decide to take the kayak or canoe and enjoy a paddle not he cleanest lake in Maine. Come back and go for a swim or bike ride. You may not want to leave the house at all, and can find enough to do right here to do just that. Grab a fishing pole or just relax in the sun. We leave area guides if you do want to venture out and explore our beautiful area. There are schooners, whale watches and many other boat tours in Bar Harbor. The house is very cozy and warm; we want you to relax and feel right at home. We have several repeat guests because it is so welcoming and relaxing. Please let us know if you have any questions at all.

I am an outdoor enthusiast; love to move and dance, but also try take time to sit and relax with a good book. My greatest joy is my family; we belly laugh. love and sometimes fall apart, we are family.
The five things in this world that I would never want to live without are my family, my friends, nature, second chances and unconditional love. I have been in awe of most of the places, in the US and abroad, where I have traveled. Among my favorites are Scotland, Norway, Colorado Arizona and most recently, Thailand, just magical. I don't have a favorite book; I love to read different styles of writing sometimes fact, sometimes fiction. I do not watch many movies at all so I cannot say I have a favorite. I do love the theatre, but cannot choose a favorite; musicals are wonderful. I love all music and love to dance.
I am in the customer service line of work and always strive for our guests and clients to be 100% happy and comfortable. A smile and a positive attitude is so important. When I travel I try not to have expectations, but to embrace each moment for the blessing that it is. When on vacation, my goal is to relax and be taken away from all distractions into another world of exploration. I look primarily for clean, safe and friendly.
