This house was as described. Beautiful views of Torch Lake, nestled in the woods, clean, and contained everything we needed. Maybe 10 minutes or so from Lake Michigan or downtown Bellaire and about 100 ft from the end of the driveway was a nice little look-out on Torch Lake with a dock. I wish the listing had a little more info which would have avoided some of my communication, but the host was so quick to respond and so kind and professional it didn't really matter. I would have preferred a slightly later check-out time, but the host allowed us to stay an extra hour and I didn't want to push it (I believe another family was scheduled to arrive the day we were leaving). Some of the kitchen equipment probably needs to be replaced, but we were able to make it work. My sister also advised me that the bed in the room she stayed in was not very comfortable and the main bathroom upstairs probably needs a new shower head, but it still worked. The indoor dining space only consisted of barstools which swiveled which were not great for our toddlers, but there was a large outdoor dining table which worked great for lunch (we ate out for dinner). The house easily slept our group in its 4 bedrooms, there were 3 full baths which made showers and bathroom-use super easy (we had 6 adults and 2 kids). There was dish TV (great for the kids during downtime), cell reception was pretty good, the outdoor furniture was better than expected, there was a grill, and fire pit that we didn't use, and the washer and dryer (which I didn't plan to use) ended up coming in handy with the kids. Overall we had a great stay!
