The apartment is in a single building near the Bund, which was once named Hamilton House. The building is located at the conjunction of Middle Jiangxi Road and Fuzhou Road.It has a long history, was first designed by English Palmer & Turner Group and constructed by New RenJi Construction Factory.The building was launched to construct in 1931, completed 2 years later, It was later sold to Hamilton, who once worked as American diploma. This was also why it was named as Hamilton House.
The Fuzhou Building is located only 200m aside the Bund, facing Lujiazui Center, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jinmao Building, Shanghai Center, Shanghai World Financial Center, across the Huangpu River. The old style apartment is kind of Quasi Modernist; from which you can sense the beauty of history due to the classical designs. The middle of the building has 14 floors with two wings have 7-9 floors. The building is concaved in the middle, with many straight strips on it, which makes it look simple and neat. The window frames are all rectangle, except three on the second floor and middle of the top floor, which are rolled. The main door is a revolving one with two shelters above it. The exterior of the first floor is covered with granite, while those of second to fourteenth are made of white cement. The interior rooms, corridors and bathrooms are decorated with hardwood, artificial marble and Mosaic floor, respectively. The apartment is well furnitured, which can accommodate 4 people.
