We are a family of 5 with three older children 17+. The flight arrangements are a little tricky from US to Panama to Bocas del Torro but Elena and Collete were very helpful with plans and answered our plethora of questions. We arrived safe and sound and were met by wonderful Elena who escorted us to the tree house by boat and was attentive to our every request. Wow, the house is amazing, offering the best of both worlds – jungle and ocean. Each room includes its own sitting room with balcony and hammock on the first floor and steps to the open plan loft on the second floor. The house is located up on a hill from a small beach and dock and surrounded by decks with sitting area, hammocks, and colorful gardens. The main room for eating and hanging out is open to the elements and filled with fresh flowers by day and candle light by night.
There are many fun activities to participate in, we enjoyed snorkeling, scuba diving, zip lines, a visit to monkey island, paddle boards, hikes through the jungle and hanging out at the many beaches available by short boat ride.
Wild life is abundant with a variety of sea life, birds, reptiles, insects, sloths, and even monkeys!
The meals were FANTASTIC, our family is full of differing dietary needs and everyone was well cared for with fresh and delicious breakfasts and dinners served with impeccable style. A variety of restaurants for lunch are a quick boat ride away.
Recommended for singles, couples or families with older children, due to the stairs/loft and for those who want 5 star service in an ecofriendly open air environment, yes there are insects inside and out. The one negative comment we can make is that town across the bay played loud music a few nights very late.
We loved our week and felt pampered and special, we strongly recommend this unique and beautiful spot!
The hosts are truly wonderful people who our entire family enjoyed their company. They even cooked a very special Christmas dinner to celebrate the holiday! Really hope we can visit again soon.
