Gran estancia! Llegamos muy tarde al apartamento y Marla nos asistió con una sonrisa. Casa limpia, con todas las comodidades y genial para aprovechar el jardín y alrededores. Justo enfrente tiene una gran coffee shop.

Very beautiful place to stay. Nice and clean. Very easy communication with owner. It has a nice kitchen to use and even popcorn for free

This was one of my favorite places to stay. It was quiet and had the perfect little coffee shop on the same property. We were just stopping for a night to visit the green sand beach but I would love to come back and stay a few days to explore Ka'u and more of the south point. Thank you Marla

Marla's place was in the perfect location if you're planning to go to the green sand beach. It was clean and tidy, and she even left food out for breakfast, which was a lifesaver for me. Thanks for a great stay!

We were on our way to the volcano and stayed for a night on our way and were pleasantly surprised and liked the space and the location. It is a nice spot at south of the big island where you could take day trips to the kona side and to the volcano which we would like to do in the future. Quiet peaceful spot and space with a coffee shop on site. Green sand beach trailhead nearby. "Chill" factor is a disable quality for me and this spot has a high chill factor. Quiet and inviting, hope to return.

Thank you so much, Marla! Our trip to your beautiful home and surrounding incredibly scenic locations (plus the best coffee we've ever had!) reaffirmed that the Big Island is truly heaven on earth. The home was perfect for us, larger than expected and very, very comfortable. We felt immediately welcomed and at home for the 3 nights we spent. We HIGHLY recommend your getaway for visitors as well as residents of Hawaii to enjoy either touring the area or just relaxing in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Until next time, aloha!

Marla's place is spacious. Furnitures are a little bit old but mostly clean. It is located in the mountain, so gets cold at night. Don't forget to bring a jacket with you. The only thing to complain is that the shower room is small and the hot water is only enough for one person to take a bath. You need to wait for a while for the water to be heated up again. Otherwise, it is a good place to stay.
