Here are 3 things people love about our Modern Apartment Overlooking Victoria Park:

1 - The location is simply outstanding. Beaumont Quarter is located little more than a stone's throw away from the hustle and the bustle of the city, yet tucked away in the best fringe location Auckland has to offer. We are isolated from the noise of the central city, however it's just a short 5-15 minute walk to Wynyard Quarter, Ponsonby and much of the CBD. Our guests frequently comment on how quiet Beaumont Quarter is given its central location.

2 - The layout of this apartment with bedrooms on either side of the living area and two bathrooms has been very popular with both families and colleagues travelling for work. The bar leaner serves multiple purposes, either extra kitchen bench space, a dining table or somewhere to place your laptop. The apartment has been recently renovated and furnished to a very high standard with new modern contemporary furniture. High ceilings and an abundance of natural light through the east-facing floor-to-ceiling ranch sliders make this a light and airy, spacious apartment. Guests frequently mention the beautiful views of the city skyline that can be seen from the lounge and both bedrooms.

Here are 3 things to consider before renting our Modern Apartment Overlooking Victoria Park:

1 - The apartment is in a residential area and close-knit community, so no parties are permitted in the apartment at all times during your stay. This applies to all residents, so ensures you will have a peaceful and quiet stay yourself.

2 - Even though private and elevated, the apartment is located in a central city neighbourhood, so you will be surrounded by buildings and other residents. That’s not a downside, since the neighbours are generally a very considerate group of people, but you will be aware of their presence on occasion. Most people actually love it, since you will have a chance to meet locals and quickly strike up a conversation. Live like a local amongst locals and you will love your stay.

3 - Living in a close-knit community requires some basic rules to make things easier. We ask that you abide by these rules and that you are a considerate neighbour. By all means, live and enjoy yourself, just be mindful of noise and loud music both inside and out and you’ll have a fabulous time.

We have furnished this recently renovated apartment with new modern contemporary furniture.

KITCHEN

Our fully equipped kitchen includes chef-quality stainless steel gourmet cookware, a cast iron frying pan, and good quality knives. We've supplied a Nespresso machine and milk frother for coffee aficionados, and a classic teapot so you can brew the perfect cup of tea.

LOUNGE

Sit back and relax in style on the comfortable leather sofa while watching Netflix on the HD Smart TV or listening to some music on the stereo system (Bluetooth, CD player or radio). The wifi is connected to an unlimited high-speed 100 Mbps fibre internet connection.

BEDROOMS

Both bedrooms are roughly the same size. The master bedroom is slightly larger and has a super king size bed (that can be split into two long singles on request) and a large ensuite, the slightly smaller bedroom has a queen size bed.

All beds come with wool all-seasons duvets, high thread count sheets and a selection of soft, medium, hard and feather pillows. The large closets are stocked with clothes hangers.

We can split the super king bed into two long single beds (203cm long x 91cm wide) which can provide an option for good friends or children.

THE VIEW

The lounge and both bedrooms offer expansive views of the Auckland city skyline. A cafe table and stools on the balcony offer a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Portacot (additional $10/day). We can provide Jolly Jumper Roma 2-in-1 portacots that have both bassinet and cot level. This model has passed safety tests and is recommended by Consumer NZ. We'll also provide cots sheets and blankets.

Quiet time after 10 pm.

To reduce the amount of chemicals used, you must use the shower located within the recreation centre before using the swimming pool or spa. This is enforced using CCTV and will result in a $50 fine if violated. Please follow the other rules detailed on the recreation centre door.

Please be aware that if you burn any food when cooking, do NOT open the front door out to the hallway to disperse the smoke. Instead, open the ranch slider and bedroom windows and the smoke should clear in a couple of minutes. If the smoke detector in the hallway is triggered, then the entire building alarm goes off, everyone in the building needs to evacuate, and three fire trucks are automatically sent out. Beaumont Quarter get charged for the fire trucks in the case of false alarms, and they pass this cost along (roughly $500).

Visitor parking is only for 3 hours and this is enforced with clamping/towing 24/7. If you need to stay longer, there is pay parking out on Beaumont St, which becomes free parking after 6 pm. If you need an extra car park let us know and we can try to sort out an extra car park for you.

If you are staying overnight, Beaumont Quarter considers you a resident and may only use the visitor parking for 10 minutes for pick ups / drop offs. We want to make sure your group have a good experience, and getting clamped/towed and then getting pinged $200 would probably ruin your day.

For long-stay booking requests 27 nights or longer, we require that guests sign a standard "New Zealand Residential Tenancy Agreement". This gives you the same protections as other tenants in New Zealand, and helps keep our insurance company and accountant happy. After you have booked, we'll send you a link to a document that you can electronically sign.

Brendan was a fantastic host. I stayed the weekend with my partner and then worked the week with my business partner, and the apartment proved perfect for both purposes. It's about 15 min walk to Ponsonby for breakfasts and eating out, and the same to the CBD for work. The apartment comfortably slept two travelling co-workers and the view over the Auckland skyline is lovely. Thanks again

Beautiful, ideally situated modern apartment. The Brendan and Natalie were fantastic and really helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and if the chances arrive, will stay there again for sure.

We love to travel. We've backpacked around South America and spent our honeymoon in East Africa. We've made it to all of the continents except Antartica. Now that we have a young son, our traveling is a bit less adventurous.

We've lived in Beaumont Quarter for the last five years. We love living here, it is so convenient to everything, so close to the city and yet quiet and calm.

We'll strive to make your experience at our place a memorable one. We hope you make a reservation at one of the several places that we are hosting on Airbnb.

Our goal is that the extra income we get from hosting on Airbnb will allow us to spend more time with our son.
