We actually didn't end up staying here. The company that rents the property got in touch with is to say this place was not available and changed our booking to a different place. Which was good and went smoothly, but I think people should know that this is not a person renting out their own property - it's done through a management company. I also think that considering the cleaning fee they charge you, they ask you to do a lot of the stuff, which is a bit ridiculous.

While the apartment we stayed was clean and comfortable we were disappointed by this host (particularly their staff) which are rude, abrupt and unresponsive. It is obvious that they find managing guests annoying as opposed to focusing on the customer experience. Their "welcome" email contained a massive list of their rules including that you could only contact them between 9am & 5pm Mon - Fri unless it's an emergency. Bad luck if you stay over a weekend! As a fellow host an Airbnb I would never treat any of my guests like they do. They contacted us a few weeks prior to tell us that the apartment we had rented was no longer available and that we could switch to another one of their apartments. We didn't actually have a problem with this because the replacement seemed similar. We also thought that given we had been flexible we could make a couple of minor requests which were: 1. To have a package delivered to the building & 2. That we contact them on the day of check-in to see if they could accomodate a 3pm checkin instead of 4pm. These requests were abruptly rejected by the host within minutes of sending them. While we understand that these things may not be possible, the hosts had no interest in even trying to help us out. What was frustrating was that both of these things could have easily been accommodated. The apartment was actually ready at 3pm and Fedex & UPS had a secure drop-off point in the building. This host just had no interest in doing the bare minimum of service.

Fantastic apartment specifically set up for rental. Good base if you are going to be out all day exploring. Great location to explore all of LA within easy driving distance of Universal Studios, Hollywood, BelAir, Griffith Observatory etc. Took the Metro (5 mins walk) to Colesium for football game - very easy. Would benefit from 2 more bar stools so 4 people can eat breakfast/dinner at the bar

Très bon emplacement très proche de la plage un peu plus éloigné du centre environ 40min en voiture. Lits très confortable sauf le canapé lit impossible de dormir dedans. Nous n'avons jamais vu la propriétaire c'est dommage. Le logement est très propre et l'immeuble calme. Prix assez élevé mais sûrement dut à l'emplacement proche de la plage et dans un quartier riche. Nous avons tout de même apprécié notre séjour.

Me and my family (5 of us in total) were taking a road trip vacation all along the west coast. We really enjoyed this place. It was super clean, a 10 minute walk to the beach, and lots of things to do nearby. One thing, airbnb messaged me an incorrect address so definitely check your direct message with Chantal that has the right address.
