Harmony Villa is an ideal base from where to explore the Heart of Dominica and centrally located to access all corners of the island. Our attentive team will take care of extra comforts, greet you with a welcome drink & prepare your continental breakfast each morning.
Our Villa is a creative Artist Home which guests always mention to us as something different and special. It is situated in the rainforest with a large wrap around plantation-style veranda which is perfect for relaxing while still feeling at one with nature. There are 4 bedrooms and open plan living & kitchen space so whether you travel just as a couple or a group, there are spaces for personal retreats and reflection.
Claudia our housekeeper is always willing to assist. She will prepare lunch or dinner for you at an additional cost.
If you are staying for more than 3 nights, you can have access to our kitchen for preparing your own meals if you wish, but we ask that you provide your own groceries.
There is a wood burning stove in the main living room but no AC as we are in the heights of the rainforest. I usually recommend that guests walk with a light cardigan or jumper for cooler evenings.
If young children and toddlers are with you please do make sure they are well behaved at all times and parents keep an eye on them especially around the staircase.

Our Bed & Breakfast guests have access to the garden and public spaces of the property.

Our two-person team, Kalin & Claudia are attentive and very helpful. They are available to guests daily. Should there be any further assistance needed our on-island on-call manager or the owner can easily be contacted.
We ask that our guests make themselves at home when with us and treat is as their own.
We ask that there is no smoking inside the Villa, no naked flames and we do not allow pets.
I am creative, gregarious, intense and usually happy and very upbeat extravert who loves Art & Healthy living. I grew up in the Tourism business in Dominica and always got involved in Artsy stuff, fashion shows growing up and taught Fitness Classes as a side interest. I have lived worked and studied in the Dominica and Barbados in the Caribbean, New York City, London, Windhoek, Namibia and now in Hove, in England with my son and husband, My daughter is continuing to travel and is currently in Australia.
While living in Namibia I took advantage of my free time and passion for healthy living to run and cycle a lot and get certified as a Personal trainer and comprehensive Pilates Instructor. I believe that because of my diverse past and training and having a first degree in Art and design and generally being a creative soul I started coaching. I then took a course as my friends and Pilates clients really valued my style and help.
As a host, well, I love nothing more than just making sure my guests are spoilt and pampered. When they stay at Harmony they really just need to feel like they are my personal guests. I love sharing my culture and home with them.
I am married with 2 generations of children, well, my children are 12 years apart so my husband and I always joke that we had our own grand-child, so we try not to spoil him like grandparents would. But they are great.
Our Team at Harmony Villa are like family and make a really great time of hosting our guests, they really look forward to every single guest always wanting to get to know how they can best assist or what they can do special for breakfasts.
Well that's about it for me then. Look forward to sharing our Villa and island with you.
