We're ONLY 17 MILES from the Tryon International Equestrian Center.
Guests have use of a private courtyard with a private apartment entrance. On site parking is directly in front of the apartment. The completely GROUND LEVEL APARTMENT allows for ease with rolling and/or carrying suitcases in and out of the apartment. The 600 sq.ft. living space has an open floor plan, large bathroom and one large bedroom (queen-size bed). The efficiency kitchen is stocked with the essentials and has a full size refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker. The courtyard has a patio umbrella and outdoor seating.

Saluda, NC is recognized as a Historic Victorian Mountain Village nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Asheville and Hendersonville are a short drive away. It's only 17 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center. Lake Lure, Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway, Pearson's Falls, Dupont State Forest (Triple Falls), Pisgah National Forest, zip line at The Gorge, Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site in Flat Rock, and white water activities on the Green River are nearby. Many new micro breweries and wineries, including the new Sierra Nevada Brewing Company-Asheville, are located short drives away. The Asheville Regional Airport is approximately a 25 minutes drive west on I-26. GSP airport is approximately 45 minutes south. The Charlotte/Douglas airport is approximately 90 miles east of Saluda.

I'm originally from Lafayette, LA. I started visiting Western North Carolina in 1989 and continued every summer and fall for 26 years. After 28 years of teaching special needs children in the Louisiana Public School System, I retired in 2012. I moved to Saluda, NC in January of 2015.
