I stayed for several days with my boyfriend in "The Simple Life." The room was lovely and had plenty of space for us to spread out our stuff without feeling cramped. The couch was perfect for relaxing after a long day, the beds were comfortable, and the shades blocked out all light when closed so that it was nice and dark for sleeping. Considering that this room is totally private and is well laid-out, I think it's a great deal. The only downside is luck of the draw with neighbors renting the room next door. It was very quiet for our first couple nights, but a loud group showed up during the second half of our stay seemingly unaware that yelling and running goes through the walls. Luckily I brought ear plugs, so if you're a light sleeper I would recommend bringing some just in case. But I think we just had bad luck with them though, because whenever they were gone the rest of the floor was quiet.
As for the area, there is a cool bar called "Driftwood" just downstairs on street level, and endless restaurants, shops, and tasty bubble tea in the neighborhood. The nearest subway is within a 10 minute walk. I'm really glad we stayed at "The Simple Life" because it was a lot of fun! I would definitely want to stay here again.
