This 2 beds and 2 bath Victoria period cottage sleep 7, is located in the sought after conservation area on the outskirts of historic Deal, less than a minute walk from the beach and a couple of minutes walk from the town restaurants and bars.
Well appointed throughout, this Victoria period cottage is ideal for families and friends looking to explore this part of Kent. Contemporary and stylish furniture gives the sitting room a modern but very comfortable feel, we have kept the original fire place just to add a little bit of nostalgia.
This cottage benefits from a large lounge dinner with a fireplace, the kitchen is in the extended part of the house with roof windows and a new modern layout with a breakfast bar, it includes a built in cooker and extractor, a dish washer and a fridge freezer, the down stairs cloak room houses the included washing machine. French doors open to reveal a compact south facing garden with decking area and a garage.
Upstairs has a light and spacious landing, with a large family bathroom and separate shower cubical, the master double bedroom has a built in wardrobe, and a good sized second bedroom to the rear of the house.
Entering the front door, there is a large tastefully decorated lounge and dining area which includes sofas (which can be utilised into extra beds) and a dining table and chairs. The lounge is also fitted with H/D TV with WiFi built in.
There is a separate utility room with washing machine and toilet. In the dinning area, there is cloakroom storage. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern white appliances, fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher and sink. Leading from the kitchen is a pleasant courtyard with table and chairs to enjoy the sunshine with refreshments, or just alfresco. At the end of the courtyard is a well secure garage size store where you can put your fishing equipment or beach play paraphernalia. There is a back entrance from the garden area.
Upstairs double bedroom is fitted with all feather pillows, duvet and cotton sheets. There is another bedroom which has two singles and cupboard space. This leads on to the bathroom which is fully fitted with shower, bath, toilet and hand basin. The premise is central heated throughout so one can enjoy Deal’s winter scene.
There are public houses, wine bars and shops in the close vicinity. The Marina sea front is one street away with a promenade leading to the ruins of Sandown Castle and Deal Pier; for you to enjoy the sea airs and views.

1.Check in is at or after 4:00pm, early check in is not allowed.
2.The total number of guests should not exceed the maximum number booked. Occupancy at any time, for any reason is limited to the number of persons agreed as per your reservation.
3.Report Complaints Immediately Upon Arrival:
Please inspect the property as soon as you arrive and to notify the owner or housekeeper immediately about any cleaning or maintenance problems. Refund requests or negative reviews after the fact are not acceptable.
4. A maximum of 1 dog is permitted in subject to prior arrangement with the owners and the relevant conditions.
5.Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the holiday accommodation.
6.Stag and hen nights are strictly not permitted on these premises. Please keep the noise level low and respect your neighbours
7.Guests are liable for any loss of equipment from the house during occupancy. The good housekeeping security deposit will be used towards covering any breakages or damages and the guests will be liable for any additional costs incurred.
8.The owners of this cottage are not liable for any loss or damage to any client's property or any property belonging to a member of the client's party however caused.
9.The client or members of his/her party cannot hold the owners of the cottage liable for any personal injury/death however sustained where the owners and/or their employees have used reasonable skill and care; and/or where caused by the fault of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party (including inadequate supervision of children); and/or where caused by the fault of a third party, and/or where caused by an event that could not have been reasonably foreseen or avoided.
10.Remove any opened food items from the refrigerator.
11.Turn off lights, ceiling fans or other electronics.
12.Empty the bin located in the kitchen.
13.It is the responsibility of all guests to keep the house, furniture, fixtures and fittings in the same condition as at the commencement of the holiday. The house must be left same state of cleanliness in which it was found.
14. The check out time is 11:00am. Later departure might incur extra charge.
15.The client is bound to reimburse the owners for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs where reasonably demanded by the owners for damage caused by the client.
16.Consequences of not meeting these House Rules could result in termination of permission to occupy the Property, lose of rental lose paid, deductions from security deposit and extra charges.
It is therefore important for all Guests to be aware of their obligations and their responsibilities to make any Visitors to the Property aware of these requirements to maintain the amenity of the Property and its neighbourhood.
