Darling farmhouse sitting on private gated land. This unique home shares land with a locally famous estate called "The Adobe"... The land is 15 acres and you will have access to 5 acres. The house is Ideal for travelling families, children, dogs, and of course executives in town to work in the DTC area (5 minutes away)... and also groups traveling to visit for any reason including skiing and sightseeing. Very private. Concierge provided by the landowner's Personal Assistant. All guests get the opportunity to see the horses graze on the upper pasture and also can pet and feed our famous mascot Peaches the mini donkey!! Tons of parking, VERY safe as you are in a gated home. Easy access to anywhere as you are on the major artery running up to Denver and I-25 (University) and also one straight shot to the DTC area. One mile from Southglenn which is a Mecca for shopping and dining. Walk up the hill in under ten minutes to Trader Joes, TJ Maxx, Starbucks, Pancake House, the neighborhoods best kept secret (Cherry Crest Seafood), Chinese Reflexology etc. Steps from the Highline Canal, which is absolutely teeming with nature and is a quiet respite from the city. Walk the back roads of our community to see some of the most elite and expensive real estate in all of Colorado. You may be in the city, but this is horse country! Sorry due to insurance reasons we NO LONGER ALLOW ACCESS to the pool on the adjacent property.

We stayed at Susan's farm house while moving from Texas to Colorado with two dogs and a baby. This place was a God send and allowed for a smooth transition during our move.

my family traveled from as far away as Guam to get together. The house was nice and quiet so the kids could sleep but had plenty of space so the cousins could come over and we could all sit around and talk. Everything was exactly as described. I would highly recommend staying here!

Serenity, scenery, private, meeting the horses and "Peaches" the donkey everyday was a big feeding them. Magnificent display of art, both in the cute bungalow and throughout the property to take in. Loved being able to walk the property each morning. Everything you could possibly need, Susan has provided at this beautiful place, plus some little surprises. We hated to leave. We couldn't stop taking pictures.

When we were searching for a place to “drop anchor” for a couple of weeks, we hoped that our place would feel like our home away from home—someplace that would accommodate our needs while my spouse was working and I was undergoing medical treatment. We were traveling with our dog, so finding a “friendly” spot for him was important to us, too.  We happened to be in Denver during the most beautiful time of the year.  Autumn at the farmhouse is spectacular.  Typically, we spend minimal time in our Airbnbs, regarding them mostly as a place to sleep.  This wonderful oasis was a destination in its own right; the property is sprawling and there is so much to see and many places to relax and take in the amazing surrounds.  We won’t soon forget the charm of our farmhouse stay… “Peaches,” the resident donkey, is adorable.  We loved walking along the path, flanked by trees and interesting sculptures, and lingering by the creek to listen to the water rushing downstream.  In the house, the kitchen was fully equipped, the heater kept us toasty at night, and plenty of natural light flooded the first floor bedroom during the day.  We were so fortunate.  In two weeks time, we saw the leaves turn bright yellow before falling to the ground.  Thank you to the owner/host, Susan, and her crew, Amanda and Josh, who made sure we had a wonderful stay.  We will not hesitate to book with them again in the future.

We were blown away by this property! It was very clean, spacious, well stocked, and the communication was perfect regarding check in/check out, etc. The grounds are stunning and this is the most dog friendly rental we have ever had. We highly recommend this to anyone and we will likely book again!

Susan was the epitome of a warm, gracious host. We made a last minute booking to attend a funeral, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. Pictures don't do this property justice. The farmhouse is warm and cozy, yet spacious enough for our five adults and one infant to comfortably spread out for a week. Susan and her assistant ensured we'd have everything we needed. There were snacks set out in the kitchen upon our arrival and even a pack n' play in the master bedroom for the baby. We didn't request the pack n' play, only mentioned that we'd be traveling with an infant. There were other nice touches for our stay including a plethora of big, fluffy towels, laundry detergent (including Dreft), etc. In addition to enjoying the charm of the farmhouse's interior, we wandered the grounds a bit and enjoyed the company of Susan's horses and donkey, who the baby absolutely adored. We would absolutely stay here again, and would maybe even ensure that this property is available before booking our next trip to Colorado. We loved it that much.
