Sunrise Place is a hilltop retreat located far away from the lights and sounds of the city. If you want total quiet and solitude this is the place for you. You'll be surrounded by the sights and sounds of the forest and the views are spectacular.
Guest house has it's own large private deck which is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon relaxing and evening star gazing during every season except Winter. The main level has a kitchen with an L shaped dinette, large bathroom with a walk in shower and a bedroom with a queen bed and an open loft which is perfect for relaxing. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a twin day bed. Both rooms are large and bright with many windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator and stove. The guesthouse has its own entrance and is attached to our garage.
Disponible para huéspedes
Guests have access to the entire apartment. The apartment is split into two levels but most parties of two tend to only use the main level as that's where the best views are. Guests will use our private drive which is a mile long winding road up through the woods to the top of a 7800 foot ridge.
Atención a los huéspedes
We've lived here for 24 years and are very familiar with the area. I like to greet guests upon arrival and then our daily interaction is by guests choice. Since the apartment is attached to our garage, there's a good chance I'll see you once or twice during your stay but we're very aware of guests privacy.
Otros aspectos destacables
Our house is rurally located at 7800 feet elevation with approximately 4 miles of maintained gravel roads to get here. We live in a light restricted area so the night sky and star gazing is amazing but it is dark out here. In the winter, 4 wheel drive and a high level of competence driving in the snow is required. Our driveway is long and steep. We have pasture for horses and are willing to board horse travellers.
We live in a quiet/peaceful setting in the woods and enjoy the wildlife that is abundant around us and we would ask our guests to be respectful of this.
I love to be outside either walking the dog, riding my horses, snowboarding or cross country skiing in the winter, paddle boarding in the summer, spending time with family.
