Hi, I am Silvia. I was born in Targu Lapus, Maramures and I grew up in Timisoara, Romania. Fate took me to London where I went to university and I met my Belgian husband.
I now have a family and live in London but I love returning to Romania to reconnect with my roots, a simpler way of life and the wonderful colourful traditions of Maramureș. The nature and the wide open spaces are always refreshing and somehow the food tastes better.
Please allow me to introduce you to the magical world of northern Transylvania and Maramures.
As a traveller I like things that are authentic and tell the story of the place, something special and unique.. I love to sample local cuisines and I have eaten in India, Australia, US and of course the many cuisines London has on offer.
I look forward to hosting you!
