The pictures do not do this house justice. The house is very interesting and comfortable.

Joanna is an excellent host! She was able to assist our party when an irresponsible Airbnb host cancelled 3 days before we were suppose to leave to visit Louisville, Kentucky. Joanna's historic home was spacious, tidy and unlike any other place we've ever stayed. We had zero complaints or concerns about our stay. However others should be aware that the location from downtown, although extremely close, should not be walked and instead guests should utilize their own transportation, Uber, or Lyft. Thanks again to Joanna for making this trip one for the books!

Joanna's house is older and has a lot of charm, though it also has some of the issues that come with older houses (lack of central air conditioning, somewhat musty). It is centrally located, and Joanna's recommendations for local restaurants were very helpful. It was pretty hot in Louisville the two nights we stayed, so the bedrooms were a little warm even with the window units, but overall we had a good stay and would recommend it to others.

We had a great stay!! An awesome house, very central to downtown & other cool places like the highlands! The place came with a lot of great recommendations for places to go! we tried two of them because that's all we had time for and they were amazing! The only thing I would mention is the house was very chilly! Otherwise we had a great experience! Thanks Joanna!'

We came to Louisville for my wife's birthday. We are residents of Elizabethtown which is about 45min south. We were looking for an attractive place that fit my wife's antique obsession. This house has so much history in it we spent the first 20 minutes looking at the decor. After a night out it was so close to everywhere that coming back and falling to sleep was more convenient than any hotel. Thank you for the piece of history, and cozy place to spend the weekend! We will definitely be a return customer!
