A new (January 2016) conversion of a former outbuilding into a bedroom/sitting room with en suite wet room. Separate from the owners house it has its own entrance and off road parking and being on one level would suit someone with mobility problems.
The Annexe is finished to a high standard with oak floors and furnishings, king size double bed, reclining sofa, freeview TV, microwave oven and thermostat controlled heaters. A cot is available if required. The en suite wet room has an electric shower and has been designed for those with restricted mobility in mind. Duvet, pillows and cushions are filled with down, non-feather alternatives are available on request

The Annexe has its own entrance and guests can enter the property through gates into the garden. Seating and table outside in the garden. Off road parking for a small to medium car is available.

Being a separate building from the main house, The Annexe allows guests privacy, and the ability to come and go as they please. However, the owners are available in the adjacent house for any needs that might arise.

The Annexe does not have a kitchen, but does have a microwave. Tea and coffee making facilities, and a selection of cereals, instant porridge, and cereal bars are provided in The Annexe for breakfast on the first day. A convenience store and garage, open early to late is only 150 metres away. A pub/restaurant is 600 metres away, and a supermarket with cafe , fast food restaurant, and retail park is 2 miles away.
The Annexe is situated in a quiet residential area. Guests are expected to avoid making noise late at night. We are sorry that we don't allow dogs in The Annexe . Smoking outside the building only.
Retired civil servant married to Mary who is a nurse. Interests include growing veg ( and cooking it), rugby, cricket and walking.
