Rainbow Height Villa was an amazing house, well located and quiet. David was beyond helpful has the manager of the place, he helped us book day trips around the island, answered every question we had and even arranged a very local St Lucian dinner for us at the house. Also, the place is even better in person than the pictures. I would recommend Leon's place to anyone wanting to go to St Lucia. It is near nice beaches, the Sulphur Springs, waterfalls, restaurants and more. You'll be delighted you've booked this paradise on earth :)

Wow! We had a fabulous stay here. The views, pool and apartment were event better than we expected from the profile. The apartment is clean, spacious, well equipped and extremely well ventilated so always feels cool. The views across Soufriere, the volcano and the Pitons were a joy and better than the pictures suggested. If you are hiring a car, you need a 4x4 in St Lucia as there are many steep and unmaintained roads, including the road to this apartment. The only challenge to our stay was finding cheap food as restaurants and supermarkets are very pricey. The local's restaurants are much cheaper but are very hard to find. We were beginning to doubt they existed until we found Fedo's towards the end of our stay. You will pay a fifth of the price of the main tourist restaurants but will have to expected more basic surroundings. David the property manager was very helpful and always available when required. All in all, we thought this place was wonderful.

The Rainbow Heights Villa is perfectly located for exploring St. Lucia and we enjoyed an AMAZING VIEW of Soufriere and the Pitons. The house has all of necessary amenities. Communication with David was really good. A car is really necessary to get to town and to the beach. Great holiday, we would definitely come back!! Thank you Jana

A wonderful stay. Friendly welcome, great review, a wonderful start to our trip of a lifetime. Better than the photos! Only thing to note is the driveway is extremely steep and lots of stairs to get to property so if you were less mobile it may be difficult to access. However if you aren't the view is totally worth it! Would definitely stay again

Our family had a really incredible stay in this villa. My son, his grandmother, my wife and I rented a vehicle from the owner's local contact in Soufriere. We were met at the airport with the AWD. On arrival to the villa, we were greeted by David (property manager) who provided us with a warm welcome and continued to supply us with good advice and conversation through the week. We took advantage of the offer to hire David (and Roger) to cook dinner a couple of evenings during our stay. They provided us with local delicious fare and some great company. They also were kind enough to bring over some local treats... a cocoa plant, some coconuts, mangoes, etc... We were taught how to make cocoa tea, an invaluable skill. The house itself is much better equipped than we expected. Large rooms, clean bathrooms, good sized kitchen, large living room area... but the most impressive area (where we spent most of our time) was the outdoor patio/porch/deck/pool area. The view was even better than advertised in the photos. Watching the skies change around the Pitons every day was exceptional. I cannot imagine a more impressive view. We spent a couple of days on nearby beaches: Sugar Beach is unreal, Anse Mamin is really relaxing, and Anse Chastenet. Fond Doux Plantation is an intimate and informative visit. The roads on the island are steep and twisting, but handled them easily. (Driving on the left was very easy to pick up.) All in all, we were very impressed with the property. Leon was quick to respond to our pre-arrival inquiries and David was easily available while on the island. We made a couple of good friends and some solid memories. Thanks!!

We enjoyed our stay! The house has a beautiful view of the Pitons- whether you are sitting on the spacious deck or outside on the second floor balcony. The house is breezy- never hot. No mosquitoes. Very clean. A car is necessary. We visited the sulphur springs and mud baths which were wonderful! We climbed Gros Piton which was strenuous and beautiful and rewarding. We also walked through Tet Paul Nature Trail. We snorkeked at Sugar Beach and Anse Chastanet- both beautiful. After busy days, we really enjoyed having a nice BBQ at the house. The only negative is that even though the house is high up in the hills, sounds come up quite loudly on weekend nights until the early hours of the morning. Aside from this, our stay was memorable and we would recommend Rainbow Villa!

Rainbow Villa is a great place to stay outside of Souffriere. It has a fantastic view of Petit Piton, virtually no mosquitos, and is significant cooler than in Souffriere since it is higher up. The villa has a nice pool, but more for cooling off than swimming. The house is nicely built, very comfortable for three couples. There are a few details the prospective guest should bear in mind. The driveway is steep, which is pretty common in St. Lucia. I recommend a 4WD vehicle. Also, sound from Souffriere works its way directly up to the villa, so if you object to reggae or country western music, you may not like the vibe. Souffriere itself is a poor village on St. Lucia, which lacks high end restaurants (with the exception of Orlandos. which is very nice). Grocery stores are pretty basic in Souffriere, if you want pastires there are a couple of nice bakeries on Church Street, if you want meat get to the butcher on Church Street early. So if you want to stay on the upscale, high end tourist side of the island, you may want to venture closer to Castries, which is the main city. There are two very nice beaches near Rainbow Villa. You can go to Sugar Beach, which is about three miles south of Souffriere, take the right turn where it says Sugar Beach Resort (or something like that), go to the end of the road. There is a guard, tell them you want to go to the beach, they will let you in and you can park at the next barrier. From there you walk to the beach, good snorkeling on the north end of the beach. I suggest buying a drink while you are there at the cabana, they will drive you back to the car, else it is a steep walk back up the hill to the car. We hiked up Gros Piton (at least some of our group went all the way). This is a pretty steep hike, there is a nice viewpoint halfway up. You can get a similar view with no exertion by going to the Tet Paul forest, which you get to near the Sugar Beach turnoff (there is a sign). Really nice place, friendly guide will show you the plantings, and there is a great view of the Pitons from a vantage point halfway around the trail, easy walk. When you are done, you may want to visit the Chocolate Restaurant, just down the road, or go to Laderos resort, which has a really nice restaurant with a great view of the Pitons. We had a really nice time in St. Lucia, it was 75 to 83 degrees every day, nice beaches, nice views. A few things to consider if you go. They drive on the left side of the road, roads are narrow and there are lots of potholes, occasional unmarked speedbumps, stray cattle etc. We drove from the airport to the villa at night,...
