The property is approached from the main B4214 along a private road that winds its way through an 8 acre woodland to reveal breathtaking views across 6 counties. Rowan has a large wrap around deck with views across meadows from the front, woodland to the side and a panorama to the other side. The space is well furnished in a contemporary style with a log burning stove for cosy nights in. Garden furniture and barbecue are provided on the deck.

I am at work during the week but my Mother Janet lives in an annexe next to my house and is usually available for guest queries and assistance.

All dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £10 per dog. All dogs MUST BE DECLARED BEFORE ARRIVAL.
Logs for your log burner can be supplied at an additional charge of £5 per bag. If you would like logs for your stay then please let us know prior to arrival so we can get them ready for you. Alternatively guests are welcome to purchase their own from any local shop but (please be aware the log burner requires very small logs).
Dogs are welcome but guests should be aware that there are no fences and the neighbouring farmers have stock in the surrounding fields, in particular sheep. Care should be taken to ensure that pets are kept under control, they should not be free to run on flower beds. Pets are not allowed on furniture and should not be left alone in the lodge.
There is a collapsible bed under the main bed suitable for one child.
Guests should adhere to the recycling rules on the property as well as the rules on excess usage of electricity.
My name is Penny I live at Bowketts Wood with my Daughter Fern who runs our family business Woodland Escapes while studying her postgraduate law degree and our two friendly dogs Dixie (rescue collie) and Darcy (Chocolate Labrador)
