We would be delighted to welcome you to an extraordinary space in the heart of Paris : this is a late 19th century craftsman's workshop transformed into a spacious (55 square meters) and cosy apartment which has been decorated in a most bohemian way by the artist owner.
The apartment consists of a small hallway, a small but functional and fully equipped kitchen, a vast living room with very large windows, creating a loft atmosphere and containing a corner for relaxing/listening to music, a corner for dining and a corner for working.
There is also a spacious bedroom also with very large windows and a brand new wooden Muji bed with an anatomic mattress.
Finally, there is a bathroom with bathtub and a separate toilet.
The ceilings are high (at least 3 meters) and the floors are wooden. There are windows in every single room.
The decoration is a very original mixture of Bohemian, pop, baroque, oriental, vintage and modern, including a variety of objects, furniture, tapestry, paintings and exotic plants. You will really feel relaxed and enchanted!
Another advantage is that the apartment is situated in the back building facing an inner courtyard, hence very quiet (but no views, unfortunately). There is no elevator, but it is located on the first floor.
The area is really nice and safe, at the frontier between the 9th and the 10th arrondissement. It is full of bars, restaurants and shops which we would be more than happy to recommend! (a five minute walk from the hip area of the rue du faubourg Saint-Denis). The typically Parisian 19th century market hall Marché Saint Quentin is at the end of our street :)
Its location is quite strategic, since you can walk down to the Seine in twenty minutes or up to Montmartre in 15. The Canal Saint-Martin is also very close, as are the Grands-Boulevards, the Opera and the train stations Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The nearest metro is Poissonniere and is a two minute walk from the apartment.
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions :)
