We arrived in the early evening and received a warm welcome from David and his dog. He had recently made fresh bread for breakfast and the house smelled like a bakery.
He suggested a great restaurant and made reservations for us. We returned to find a crackling small fire in the backyard. The morning breakfast was the greatest. In particular I appreciated his extra effort to accommodate my gluten-free dietary preferences. Also for breakfast were local cheeses, blueberry jam, great coffee, and french toast made from fresh baked bread. We enjoyed being exposed to local farm products. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. I would highly recommend this place and we can't wait to return.
