La Payrastrie is a large converted manoir and is set in extensive grounds (including a small woodland) and is shared with 9 other private owners. The setting is ideal for families with plenty of space. Our house faces onto the courtyard There is a large shared swimming pool which is always very well looked after. We also have a wonderful terrace with lovely views across the hills and woodlands towards the 'Montagne Noire' - perfect for watching the beautiful sunsets.

La casa nos gustó mucho y el entorno era maravilloso. Las fotos describían perfectamente la casa. La casa es muy acojerora y está muy bien decorada.

Fabulously clean pool (no chlorine!). Very friendly atmosphere with mainly English owners as neighbours. Nicely tucked away for a complete getaway from the hustle and bustle. The place felt like a friendly cottage. Great fun particularly for children under 10 who would have loads…

Very lovely house. Spacious and decorated with eye for detail. Pool and garden are perfect for a lazy day. Nice surroundings if you like a part of southern France that is not overloaded with tourists.

Marian - we had a wonderful stay thank you. The house worked out really well for us. Pip was great, and helpful for any questions we had. The location is great for touring to neighboring towns. We tended to tour in the morning and then back to the pool for the afternoon.

Hi Marie I am glad you had a good time - I think La Pay was hit by the heatwave in Europe during your stay. I will check with Jane there should be 2-3 fans in the house (in the cupboard in the bathroom and in the cupboard in the top bedroom. The clothes dryer broke at Easter so needs replacing - Jane was already ordering it for me - so I will check. Thankyou very much for the suggestions. Unfortunately not much is open in France on a Sunday in a rural setting - especially late in the evening - there are a couple of supermarkets open late near Toulouse if arriving from that direction. If people ask Jane will shop for a pack of basics to have in the house on arrival. I will add a note on the listing. Thankyou again and I am glad you had a good time. best wishes Marian

We had a fantastic time! Great place for the family, relaxing and a lovely pool. The house is really pretty, well equipped with wonderful sunsets from the terrace.
We will most definitely be back!

We had a great time staying here. Fantastic pool filtered and treated with infra-red light rather than chlorine. A very comfortable apartment in a beautiful setting.

Very good contact and always very quick response with Marian, the owner. The care takers Pip and Jane were very helpful during our stay at the Manior.
