Staying at Lisa’s West Yosemite home was cozy and comfortable. It was in excellent condition and extremely clean (just as pictured). I had noticed other reviewers mentioning they had difficulty cooling off the cabin. We were having a heatwave and I was worried about it, but, to my pleasant surprise, there was a portable air conditioner in the living room and the cabin was very cool and comfortable. One thing Lisa’s photo doesn’t capture is the carpeting, which is extremely clean and in like-new condition. There is no photo of the second bath, but it has a tub/shower & is as nice as the master bath. Lisa provided lots of bath towels, hand towels and even washcloths, which I appreciated, since many accommodations don’t include washcloths.
We used the gas barbeque on the deck and it worked very well. No briquets or lighter fluid needed. The deck has a nice patio table which includes four chairs and a shade umbrella.
Kitchen has a Mr. Coffee coffeemaker, filters, packets of sugar and powdered creamer; however, you need to bring your own coffee. There was salt, pepper and some other dry seasonings, but no condiments such as mustard, ketchup or mayonnaise. As other reviewers have mentioned, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking.
We had five people in our party so we needed to use the “floor mattress.” The floor mattress was actually two individual novafoam Loungeable Versamat’s. 35 in x 75 in x 3 in. We had a child sleeping on it and it was ok. No sheets for this floor mat, but after calling Betty, the house care contact, she brought some over the next morning.
One other thing. . . the queen beds were very comfortable, I slept with the window open and didn’t hear a thing.
Thank you, Lisa.
